Part 2

Haru's Dream

I woke up on my back to complete darkness.

"Where am I?" I asked no one in particular while sitting up. I looked around and saw nothing. I checked my hands and body. That was still there along with my swim shorts and it seemed that I was kinda like a small light bulb in the surrounding darkness. I got up an started walking around. My bare feet were making a slapping sound against the invisible floor. I looked back at where i stepped and my footprint was left there as a white mark that was slowly disappearing. 'That's pretty cool' I told myself as I kept walking around. After a few more disappearing footprints and walking around, a small light broke through the darkness. Instinctual, I walked towards it. The closer I got to the white light the larger it got. I got to a point where the light overthrew the darkness and I had to shield my eyes with my arm so I won't go blind. When I moved my arm from my face and opened his eyes he saw a younger version of me, Rin and Makoto in front of the large cherry tree at Iwatobi Elementary school.

"This is.." I whispered.

"I won't be attending middle school here," says the younger Rin. The younger me looks at Rin with a confused face.

"I'm going to Australia. I'm going to a swimming school," Rin says profoundly. Haru gives him an angry look, then looks away.

"What are you trying to do?" Haru asks Rin, still looking away.

"I'm going to become an Olympic swimmer," Rin replies. Haru makes an angry expression.

"Why didn't you tell us? What about the relay?" Makoto asks.

"I'll swim in the relay. I'm leaving the day after the tournament," Rin starts walking away, "so this will be the last time the four of us swim together." He stops.

"I only swim freestyle," Haru says.

"That's why you have to swim in the relay, this is our last chance. Let's swim together, Nanase. If you do," Rin turns around and his eyes meet Haru's, "I'll show you a sight you've never seen before." Just like that, everything turns white and I wake up to a dim light hanging from a ceiling.

Haru's P.O.V

"HARU!" Nagisa yells my name and throws his body at me, his teary face getting on my shirt, "I thought you would never wake up!" It appeared to be that I was back at my house laying on my bed with new clothes on and everyone surrounding me.

"Haru are you ok?" Rei asks looking over Nagisa's shoulder.

"Oh, ya I'm fine now, but what about Rin?" I asked, looking at all of their worried faces.

"We don't know, after you blacked out Ms. Amakata immediately drove us here," Makoto answers.

"We asked Gou to go follow Rin but she hasn't texted us back yet," Rei says. Just then Nagisa's phone rang. He reached for his back pants pocket and pulled out his vibrating phone.

"Hello? Gou! What's going on with Rin?!" There was a small pause then his expression changed from worried to a look of absolute terror. "WHAT?!? We are leaving right now!" Naigsa hangs up.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"No time to explain, but we need to get to Samezuka right now!!" Naigsa says grabbing my wrist.
