The rest of summer went by too quick. Andromeda has enjoyed her time with the blonde but couldn't help but hate the fact her parents made no effort to find them when they "rebelled" by going to LA. The whole rebellion didn't work out because as soon as they got back her parents weren't there and had no knowledge of them even finishing school. Draco has comforted the girl when she got mad and destroyed half of her room.

But despite the cry for attention Draco and Meda had actually enjoyed themselves in LA. There were some moments Meda rembwred better than the others, for example when she taught Draco to swim, she was so passionate about it and he had no clue as to how it worked she only found it fit to share her love for the water with someone else. He had been impatient to get in and learn however almost drowned because he ignored the girls words to stay on the shallow end. They had laughed their day away and eventually Draco got the hang of it making Andromeda proud. The next day they went to the beach and played around. She found some cool seashells which she took back to the house. At the end of the day when the sen was setting they sat by each other in silence when Draco spoke. "What are you thinking about?", "oh nothing" "I know you're thinking because when you're thinking you slightly crease your eyebrows and bite your tongue." The girl was surprised with his response "no ones ever paid that much attention to me" "I'm not just anyone I'm your best friend and I will always be here for you."

That week in LA was one of the best for Meda because back at her manor they stopped having such fun and started getting lazy and sulking around, the last couple of weeks they went to Dracos Manor which equally was too gloomy and nothing like LA.

Lying on his back Draco watched as the girl sat down beside him and eventually laid with him. "You know this has been the best summer ever" the girl looked up at Draco "really?" "Yeh I'm having a lot of firsts with you, I had never swam before not properly, I had never been to a beach, I had never been to America, I've never ran away like you did, I've never had a friend" "well this summer had been the greatest for me as-well" they ended the last day by bonding over their love for the stars and the constellations in the sky.

Running through the crowds of people Meda and Draco has just finished saying goodbye to his parents who had gotten used to the girl a bit more. There in front of them was the freshly painted red train, the only one that would take them to a place that felt more like home than any other. They boarded the train and found some seats among the rest of the Slytherin students. Pansy, and Blaine had also sat with them and they all conversed about their summers, and for the first time ever both Draco and Andromeda had more exciting summers than any of their friends.

After getting off the captivating carriages they entered they Great Hall where another year was to come. After the boring sorting the feast had begun and all the new Slytherins exclaimed in excitement when the food appeared. Eating was painful for Andromeda as she couldn't seem to stop thinking about all the weird dreams she had her having during the summer, most of which she didn't bother telling anyone unless Draco had woken up with her screams. "Hey you're not eating, you need food" "I'm just taking my time relax" she was lying she just didn't have an appetite.

After dinner Draco and Andromeda went to the astronomy tower to send letters off to their parents informing them they were at school and everything was fine, despite them both knowing that they were bound to get no reply. They sat down and looked up at the sky. "You know I can tell something is wrong with you," the girl raised an eyebrow at the boy and sighed "look I've been having nightmares and it's so childish and small it's really nothing for you to worry about" Draco knew she was telling the truth however he could also tell she was trying to make the situation better than what it was. He didn't push on.

Meda and Pansy prepared for the Slytherin vs Gryffindor match wearing matching scarves and painting their faces green and silver, Draco was playing and Meda couldn't be happier about it. They made their way down to the pitch with the large crowd of people engulfing them and found some seats. "I think this year might be the year we win against Gryffindor." "Just because Draco's playing" Pansy looked way to happy when Meda mentioned his name. She rolled her eyes and ignored the girls giddiness turning around to talk to Blaine and Theodore whom she had only recently talked to. They conversed until the game began and Andromeda was excited for her best friend to play his game. She knew his father was here watching and knew he would be under a lot of pressure, despite tht as soon as she saw the Slytherin she spotted Draco with his ridiculous gelled back hair and a huge grin on his face. He was happy. Something she could definitely get used to, seeing him smiling and enjoying life, despite them only being 12 the pressure on them both was immense.

"Andromeda" she head whispering of her name and slowly dragged her self back to the castle while people were too busy with the match to notice. "Follow me" she kept following the voice in a trance and came to a stop when she reached the library. She was confused but somehow knew exactly what she had to do. She went into the restricted section and found the diary which belonged to Tom Marvolo Riddle. She opened it finding it empty. All of a sudden her face changed and with the blink of her eyes and a sudden headache she was back to herself not dazed or confused anymore. She looked at the black book in her hands and decided she would investigate it later.

Draco searched the stands for the one person who mattered anything to him and found her sat with their friends, she was listening intently to something Theodore was saying and looking slightly bored at the same time which made Draco chuckle. "Malfoy up ahead" he brought his eyes back up and saw the snitch quickly heading off after it. He lost it after awhile and then proceeded to look at the girl however he saw her leaving he was confused but then saw Harry moving towards him and realised the snitch was right by him. He chased Harry and saw that there was a rogue bludger chasing after Potter. He carried on chasing Harry until all of a sudden he couldn't dodge one of the wood works under the Pitch and went flying towards the floor landing on his butt quickly loosing his breath.

Gryffindor had won and Draco now laid in a hospital bed with Andromeda by his side. "Where did you go?" The girl looked up from their intertwined hands and at the boys face. "Oh um I'm not sure it was like one minute I was in the stands and then I wasn't." Draco opened his eyes more and more with each word. "What if you did that thing you did last year, like apparated?" "You know people can't apparate in Hogwarts" "well maybe it's different" "maybe but whatever it is, it's not a big deal for the time being we just gotta get you fixed so we can see what this diary is all about."
