Hogsmeade

Today Andromeda has woken up later than usual and she was feeling very tired. The past week since her birthday she's been with her grandma non stop learning as much as she could about the wizarding world and her brain had never been so confused. She liked the idea and was enjoying the new information but at the same time she was so intimidated with the idea of a whole new school and a whole new world not because she didn't have friends or even know anyone but simply because she enjoyed knowing what was happening and being in control of her moves, that was something this change was not allowing her. It didn't giver her power.

She got dressed and got Rose to get her breakfast which consisted of a fruit salad, today she was going to a place to get school materials and she has no clue as to what to wear, she was afraid of what would be too much or maybe not enough, she grew up around wealth and richness and had no idea of what witches in so called "Hogsmeade" would be wearing. She opted for a little black dress with a grey cardigan and some socks and platform black boots. She also decided to put her hair up into a ponytail due to it being so long and annoying, she put on some pearl earrings and a matching necklace and added a small purse from some designer her mum gave her.

She met up with her grandma at this pub in London after her driver dropped her off in their family limo.
"Ah Meda you look beautiful let's get going."
Her grandma swiftly pulled her into the pub and was greeted by many different people who all wanted a sneak at her granddaughter Meda didn't mind the attention she was used to it, however she did M.I.N.D. the fact they all looked homeless and some like they hadn't had a bath in years, and there was nothing more she hated more than someone who simply didn't love hygiene.Her grandma avoided most and managed to leave the pub through the back only to be met with a brick wall, however, just as Andromeda was starting to think her grandma was crazy she pulled out a wand and tapped it on the sticks in a logical way and they opened an entrance to a whole new village.
"Only witches would have their opening of their world through a pub." Her grandma laughed at the girls distaste for the magical world and carried on taking her along.
"Now we need to make a stop at the bank first to get you some Galleons, which is the magical money." "Galleons got it" they walked to the bank and just as they were entering a boy with striking platinum blonde hair walked out followed by presumably his father with the same looking hair just longer and they hurried out, however Andromeda was somewhat fascinated with the boy even after only seeing him for 3 seconds.
After retrieving the money in a way Andromeda was certainly not fond of at all they went about shopping.

"Now it says you're going to need a wand, a cauldron, the right books, and a pet but you got the kitten so you should be fine," "can we see the pets either way father said I could get an owl so I could send mail" "well it won't do any harm, what did you end up calling your cat anyway?" "Scorpius" "you and your father and your obsession with astrological names and signs" "being a Gemini is an honour" "it's also the psychopath of the signs" "thank you" her grandma laughed and they went around buying her needed equipment for school. After getting fitted for her robes they made their way over to Ollivanders where she was to get her wand. "So this part is the best, the wand is going to choose you" "alright but how do I know" "just go in" she walked in and started around in awe as there were thousands upon thousands of wands in the store all stored in their own little box. This had reminded her of the library she went to near her house that had thousands of books, each to their own place, some touched recently and some neglected for many years shown by the thick layer of dust upon them.
"Ah Miss Rhodes was wondering when I would see you, hello Dorothy lovely to see you again." Mister Ollivander and her grandma were speaking for a while before he put his attention back onto Andromeda. "So Miss.Rhodes time to pick or better be picked by your wand." He carefully walked around and picked out 6 wands and laid them in front of Andromeda, he handed her the first wand which was of unicorn core and super bendy according to the professional but she set his robe on fire so he decided it wasn't right. Then he gave her a wand with Ash wood to which again she didn't do well with. He tried Aspen wood,Blackthorn wood,and Ebony wood until finally he gave her one to which he was reluctant to do so, "this wand here is well it's twin to another one this Hawthorn wood and well give it a try" she waved the wand and a massive gust of wind cane through making her shine in a moonlit light until it all disappeared. "Well that's the one" "um Mister Ollivander who's is it twinned to May I ask?" He looked unsure as to wether to tell her or not. "Well I think you will find out now that will be 14 Galleons" she handed him the money and made her way out where her grandma was chatting with a man, she carried on walking and stared at her wand wondering who it could be twinned with. "So what is it?" "Hawthorne wood 10 inches and unicorn hair" her grandma smiled knowingly and they made their way to the final stop which was the pet shop. "Right go on then" she walked around for a bit before landing face to face with the boy from earlier, they were both glued to each other's eyes until his father placed his hand on is shoulder and pulled him away "sorry" she heard him mutter and went on her way to look at the owls even though she wasn't able to get those icy grey eyes off her mind. She picked a black owl with beautiful fathers and her and her grandma made their way back to her limo to which they drive away to her Manor still nit being able to stop thinking of the boy with greys eyes and blonde hair and the fact her wand is twinned with someone's.

She stayed up that night thinking about her day and how she couldn't have been more excited to go to Hogwarts especially after her grandma had informed her that the boy was starting this year too. Her grandma had also shared some history of their witch bloodline and how they were all in Slytherin and they were distant relatives of Merlin and Salazar Slytherin themselves 2 of the best wizards ever according to her Grandma but Andromeda wasn't worried about popularity at least not yet anyway.
