LISA POV
I plopped on my swivel chair feeling exhausted. This paper works are wearing me out. I need a rest. I need to call Jennie.
Rest and Jennie sound good to my ears. Kidding, I just need to check if she's already okay and tease her a little bit because she looks cute when she's fuming mad.
I picked up my car keys and went straight to the parking lot. Fortunately, my baby has been resurrected. They changed the car seat with the same color as before because the smell of chlorine stayed. Aish! It's Jennie's drunk ass fault.
I was humming when I climbed into the driver's seat. I played some music throughout the drive. I tapped my fingers on the steering wheel, bobbed my head while singing Arizona Zervas' FML.
I see you got that new Mercedes
I might let you drive me crazy
Usually I ain't the type to stay
'Cause you could fall in, and go psycho
Ain't no tellin' where this might go
But I take my chances either waySo come and fuck my life up, baby
Fuck my life up
Come and fuck my life up, baby
Fuck my life up
Come and fuck my life up, baby
Fuck my life up
Come and fuck my life up, baby
Fuck my life upI was enjoying the drive when a realization hit me.
Why the hell am I still energetic after a long tiring day? I don't care about whatever the reason is because I'm going to my girlfriend!
After a few minutes of singing while driving, I finally reached my destination. The guard let me in at the parking lot instantly after seeing my ID.
When I parked my baby perfectly, I looked at the rearview mirror as I run my fingers on my bangs and wear my sunglasses. I glanced at my reflection one last time in my tinted window when I stepped out and locked my car. Then, I straightened my blazer before clicking my heels towards the elevator. I pressed the 5th floor not sure if that's where my girlfriend's office located.
"Excuse me! Where's Jennie Kim's office?"
I stopped a lady who's wearing a high waist denim pants tucking in the black turtle neck and covering it with a black blazer from stepping in the elevator. I think I already saw her somewhere. Maybe she's an actress because she looks like one.
"Miss Manoban?"
Her heart-shaped lips formed an O as she blinked multiple times.
Guessing by the way she addresses me, she works here and that means she's not an actress. So, where the hell did I saw her? She really looks familiar.
"Yes, I am."
She cleared her throat and said,
"Her office is located on the 8th floor."
