JENNIE POV
Time flies really quickly. 3 days seems to be a blur. I just went shopping for our trip to Los Angeles, California. Lisa doesn't accompany me because she said she's busy finishing all the work before we leave. It's not like I want her to accompany me though. The thought of her kissing me even we're not real is constantly playing on my mind whenever she calls or even someone mentions her name. What more if I saw her in person? I might just grab her and continue where we left off. Ugh! What the hell am I thinking?
"Hey, girlfriend!"
Lisa snakes her arms on my stomach and rests her chin on my shoulder. Unconsciously, I caress her hand and pat her head.
"Hi."
I greeted back. Her parents are watching us with a smile on their faces while their hands were tangled together.
We're currently here at the airport waiting to be on board. It's just Lisa and me, and her parents. Her sister, Yeri with her boyfriend is already in LA a few days ago.
Her father is a nice person too. He smiles genuinely, but not that talkative like her mom.
"Are you hungry?"
She asks burying her face on my neck. Feeling her hot breath on my neck sends a shiver to my spine. I shrugged the feeling off and shook my head.
"We just had coffee right?"
I replied with a smile rubbing her hair soothingly.
Her parents are here. This is the right thing to do which ironically isn't. But we have a deal. I have to do my part while enjoying it somehow.
"Of course! How could I forget the sight of you enjoying your coffee?"
She smirks and wiggles her brows. I laughed at her silliness and sat down on the bench beside Mrs. Manoban whose head is leaning on her husband's shoulder while her eyes were closed. She must be sleepy because we woke up early while here I am, energetic because I am so excited to breathe the air of LA and maybe go to places there. Gosh! A new environment got me so giddy.
After an hour, we are now inside the plane. I took the seat beside the window which is an easy thing to do because Lisa doesn't argue. If she argues, I will do anything to get that seat. I will not let her get it no matter what it takes.
I just love watching the sky from above.
"You okay there, girlfriend?"
Lisa asked after buckling my seatbelt. She's extra caring today and I'm loving every second of it.
I nodded as an answer. She took it as a cue to buckle her seatbelt too.
After a few minutes, we took off. When we're already in the sky, I took a lot of photos. It's hard not to. The sky is captivating. I let myself get lost on the view until I heard a camera click. I turned my head to Lisa, the camera is on her eyes and a smile is plastered on her plump lips.
"What are you doing?"
She lowers her camera, her smile never wears off. She then takes a look at what she captured before replying,
"I just didn't want to miss a beautiful view."
She shrugged making my insides go wild. I bit my inside cheek to stop myself from smiling. So, I tilted my head to the window and let out a small smile which I think necessary because if I didn't, I might die due to Lisa Manoban's effect.
"Girlfriend! Smile for me."
Before I even smile, she clicked the camera and I swear to God, I look ugly there. She chuckled agreeing with my thoughts.
