Roller Skating

Y/N POV

"I want to meet this friend of yours that you have a crush on." My mom and I were out shopping when she brought up my Crush. 

"Uhm like when?" I was searching through the clothes racks when I found a cute shirt and hung it over my arm.

"Saturday." I choked on air and started coughing.

"Saturday? As in tomorrow?" What if she doesn't like him? What if she doesn't think that he's a good guy? What if he doesn't want to come?

"Yes Y/N tomorrow. We can go skating with the family." She suggested handing me a pair of jeans she thought would look nice on me.

"I'll talk to him.." We pay for the items at the register and head home.

I hear a ding and pull out my phone.

C/N: Hey u

Me: Heyyyy, I actually uhm have a question for you.

C/N: Wassup

Me: Do you maybe want to go roller skating tomorrow? With me and my family..?

C/N: Hmmm, Let me check my schedule. Yep Im free.

Me: So that's a yes?

C/N: Yes ma'am

Me: Kayy, I'll see you tomorrow then.

"He said yes mom." She looked over at me and squealed taking her hands off the steering wheel.

"Mom hands on the steering wheel!"She regained her spot on the road and smile over at me.

"Im so happy for you! This is your first date! Oh my god its your first date.. What have I done? My baby girl is going on her first date.." I rolled my eyes laying my hand on my mothers shoulder.

"Its not a date. We're just hanging out as Family and Friend." She nodded, pulling into our driveway.

The next day rolled around faster than I had wanted it too. Im scared to hang out with C/N outside of school. We talk accasionly during class but very rarely, it was mostly behind that tiny screen.

"Do you want to wait for your friend out here while we go in and get our stuff?" Mom asked swaying with my little brother connected to her hip.

"Sure mom! He should be here any minute now!" I wiped the sweat from my hands onto my Jeans.

She left me outside while taking my little siblings into the rink and getting them all set up to go skating.

"Hey you" Turning around, c/n was walking towards me with a 2 sunflowers, "this is for you and the others for your mom."

"you're sweet. they're inside if you want us to head on in" I turned towards the door only to be pulled back. His hand resting on my arm as he shyly smiled down at the ground.

"do you remember when you told me you liked me?" How could i forget? I nodded, smiling at the memory, "theres something I need to tell you.."

"okay..?"

"I like you too"

"Im glad to hear that, come on. skating is one of my favorite things to do." I intertwine my hand with his leading him into the skating rink.
