☆ Dakotahs Pov ☆
I finish my fruit roll up and zip up my lunch pail grabbing my wrappers and walking over to the trash bin to throw them away.

The bell rang and me and my friends walk out of the lunch room together.

"Awe look its C/N." One of my friends teases as my cheeks warm up and Im sure turn a deep shade of red.

"Alexia! Be the fuck quiet!" I whisper yelled trying to keep my voice down.

"But why?" Another friend questioned as they all looked at each other with a specific look.

I was pushed as I answered talking too loud. "Because nobody needs to know that I have a crush on C/N." I hit someone else.

I looked up at who I made contact with.

"You have a crush on me?" C/N herself of course.

"Uh.. Uh.." I stuttered my cheeks hotter than before, my neck was even warm.

"Kotah, I'm flattered--" I interrupted her and I saw her face sadden a little.

"Its cool, I know you don't feel the same so Im just gonna go." I walk away fast with my head hung low. I can't believe that just happened.. Im so fucking embaressed.

"Kotah! You can't just walk away from someone like that!" My friends all ran up to me.

"I just did. It wasn't going to end well anyway so whats the point? I knew the answer. It was, Im flattered but I don't really see you like that. Then my heart will be even more shattered hearing her actually say those words okay?" My quiet friend spoke up.

"You don't know, You never know until you actually hear them say it. For all we know she could like you right back. You just have to believe and let people finish their sentences before running off."

"And we don't know that she does, so why stick around and hear bullshit that I already knew? And hope for something thats never gonna happen? There isn't any reason for her to like me. Im just me." I shurgged and opened my locker.

"Just you? So an amazing person, a beautiful person inside and out. A goofball. A great fashnista?" Alexia asked, "being just you is amazing."

"We have to get to class c'mon." I walked to Bio class and sat in my chair slouching and pulling my sweater sleeves over my hands.

"Well look on the bright side. If she doesn't like you then you can move on. Better now then in months when you're too far in." I took a breath and rubbed at my face as I looked at my friend Hailey

"You're right, but now she knows. She knows that I like her."

Our teacher spoke up and started talking about himself once more as I drifted off into my thoughts. Before I knew it the bell signaling for class to be released dinged.

Chairs scraping against the floor and feet leaving the room echoed in my ears. I just couldn't bring myself to get up.

I felt a hand wrap around my arm and I zone in to what is going on. Hailey lifted me from the chair and grabbed my things.

"Come on. We got to get you to class." She led me through the hallway back to our lockers. I slowly put my combo in and open it to find a note fall onto the floor.

Hailey leans down and picks it up handing it too me. The handwriting on the outside was beautiful, but why did it look so familiar? Its not mine.

I open it to find the same writing, it was from C/N

I was gonna say Im flatter so, I guess nows a good time to tell you that I have a crush on you too then. ~C/N

I let out a shakey breath and the note falls from my hands onto the floor again.

"I like you, I really really do dakotah." I turn around and pull her into an embrace.

"You better not be fucking joking me right now." I said pulling back

"Never my darling." I leaned into her hand that she had pressed onto my cheek. Her touch felt like electric on my skin.

"Good. I don't know what I'd do if you were shitting me. " She pulled my face to hers and pressed a kiss to my cheek.

"I'll pick you up Friday 7:30. Casual." She winked and walked off.

I think I was just asked out on a date.. And I ain't complaining one bit.

"Kotah got herself a womanzzzz!!!! I knew it!!" Alexia jumped around and clapped her hands.

Hailey had the biggest smile on her face as she looked between where C/N had just walked and me.

"That's fucking adorable." She said squealing and jumping with Alexia.
