Monday rolled around and your peaceful sleep was interrupted by your father shaking you awake,
"(Y/N), your gonna be late. I know this weekend was rough, but you still need to go to school."
"Hon, she might just need to take a break. You know she'll only overwork herself, and that boy sure won't be too much better."
"(M/N), she still needs to prioritize her academics. She can't avoid the boy forever. What they should do is talk it out."
"(Y/N), do you want to go today? Its perfectly fine if you need a small break."
"I'm fine, I'm fine," You grumbled drowsily, "Is my uniform in here?"
"Already out for you. You want me to drive you?"
"No, I'll just walk. I need fresh air anyways."
"Alright, I hope you and Jotaro can resolve your problems."
You muttered random words underneath your breath, rushing your parents out of your room so you could change. Too mentally drained, you headed out without breakfast and your shoelaces untied. It was noticeable you didn't get the best night's rest, but it'd do for the day. The dark rings around your eyes could be covered in the bathroom; you always brought small makeup things with you in case of an emergency.
As you arrived by the familiar iron gates of the school, you were immediately greeted by Kakyoin and (F/N) who saw you and immediately came running.
"(Y/N)! Are you ok? You look awful- have you been sleeping well? God fucking Kujo,"
Kakyoin allowed (F/N) to hug you before he also embraced you.
"Heh, I'm fine," You assured them, waving away their worries.
"Are you sure..? You weren't even active in the group chat..."
"Yeah I just needed some time away, I think."
"Did Jotaro block you?"
"How'd you know?"
"You can't cover up extreme distress, dummy."
"Well, yeah. But I also had a dream and he just looked...awful...Completely beside himself, not just behavior-wise. Physically too."
Kakyoin nodded, concern in his eyes. "Hey, speak of the devil..." You just barely heard (F/N)'s low voice. You followed her dagger-glare and saw Jotaro being swarmed by his regular fangirls. Some things would never change, and this seemed to be one of them.
But this time, he wasn't screaming at them or yelling at them to fuck off, he was...talking to them? This was too unusual.
"Am I seeing right, or is he talking to his fem-mob?"
"He's...talking to them?" Kakyoin confirmed.
"Don't-"
You heard (F/N)'s angry marching but she was too far gone. You watched as she stormed over to the tall delinquent, who still towered over her by at least a foot.
You saw angry gestures, enraged faces, and eventually (F/N) waved him off, headed back to you and Kakyoin, who stood shocked.
"What?"
"What-"
"Look, he's a fucking asshat. I don't know what he expects. Of course I'm going to cuss him out after he drops us like we don't have feelings. Look, (Y/N), I never trusted this dude from the beginning. Kakyoin, I know you're good friends with Jotaro, are, were, who fucking knows, but he's just...indescribably ignorant."
