⚠️⚠️Slightly more mature talks about rape⚠️⚠️
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hey Baby," I heard someone slur from behind me, "Lookin' pretty sexy."
I was sitting in front of a tree at lunch, and no one else was in earshot.. great. "Get away, perv," I said confidently, no one is gonna treat me like this.
"Ah frisky," he winked, "I like my girls hard to get." He moved closer, now standing right behind me to the right of the tree.
"Yeah well, you aren't getting this girl at all," I spat.
"Tsk," he whispered, "Kyleigh, is it?" I reluctantly nodded. He glanced at the picture I was drawing and smirked. "I'm sure pencil wood isn't the only wood you can use as well as that?"
"For you, it is," I remarked, "Jackass."
He came closer, so close that I could feel his breath hitting my ear, "That's not the only nickname you will be calling me today sweetheart." I flinched as he brought his hand to my cheek, then jumped as he covered my mouth and grabbed my wrist. He jerked me up from where I was sitting, and then I started screaming. I bit his hand and flailed around, but he had a backup plan. I felt a sharp sting in my side and looked down to see a shiny blade pressed into my skin. Tears ran down my face as he whispered, "Make another sound and you're dead." I quietly nodded as he pats my wet cheek. "Good girl," he said.
I reluctantly followed his orders. Going where he wanted to go, smiling at certain people, walking normally, anything to save my life. When we were about to reach his car, I heard running from behind me. "Get away from her you asshole!"
Mr. CreepyGuy was suddenly tackled to the ground, his knife thrown a few feet away from him. I screamed as loud as I could as I moved the knife farther away. A crowd appeared, ensuring more safety. An adult ran over and apprehended the man. I turned to look at my savior and see...
"Charlie?"
"Hey Kyleigh, are you ok?"
"Am I ok? You just tackled a rapist to the ground after he tried to kidnap me. Neither of us is ok. Plus, why are you even here? You weren't at school today."
He gave a small smile. "You didn't answer any of my texts or calls, and I knew it was lunch period. So I came to check on you and saw my girlfriend getting attacked," he stated. I launched myself onto him, slightly wincing from the cut on my side, but longing for his embrace. "It's ok Kyleigh," he whispered, "I'm here now."
