42 |"Another Heartbreak?"

---chapter 42----

Here we go

Sidharth Pov:

Like winter turned into summer, days turned into months but there is no change in her attitude towards me. I can even say our relationship is at stake. It's been two months after that incident.

I thought it would be easy for me to convince her but I never thought she would be this much stubborn. I tried everything to woo her but being stubborn she would say something which breaks my heart. I don't know till when I'm gonna survive this pain but it seems to be still less compared to the pain which I gave her all these years. 

By this, I understood one thing what we give will return back to us. I gave her pain all these years and now I'm recieving it back. Karma is definitely a bitch. I thought.

Suddenly, I heard my phone ringing. I looked at the caller ID. It was my cousin, Nihaar.

"Nihaar, I'm not in a mood to talk. I'll call you back " I said picking up the call.

"What the fuck bhai? You were saying the same dialogue from past one week. I know you are in a hard time but why are you ignoring me? I can help you to get this mess fixed,bhai. Trust me in this atleast" he said and I sighed.

No one can't help me right now. I know my future very well and I need to prepare myself for facing another heartbreak.

"Give me some space" I said and hung the call. I'm seriously not in a mood to talk to him.

Heartbreak? Can I survive this time? I don't think I can. My feelings for Sanjana are so deep like a blue ocean. If something goes wrong then there is no escape for me. I'll be drowned deep into that ocean.

I don't know why I'm feeling like this. I shouldn't let my hope go but deep down I know that even if I have some hope. It will never sustain.

Suddenly, I heard a door knock. I took a deep breath and kept a stern face. No one should find out the haunting demons in me.

"Come in" I said and I saw the most beautiful girl of my life opening the door with a file in her hands. She looked at me and our eyes locked for a second. Why can't she forgive me?

"Good morning, Mr. Sidharth. Here are the latest designs of the other rooms. Please check and let us know" she said placing the file on the table. I can't give up on you,Sanj.

"With this our work for your new hotel is done" she said smiling.  How can she smile? This means she will leave this company soon and fly back to Humburg. Something started to break inside me. I immediately got up from my place and walked towards her.

She looked at me with a frown. I was about to speak but someone knocked the door. Who is the intruder?

"Come in " I said closing my eyes in frustration. It was Reyan. Yeah, this guy will never leave a chance. He is really an intruder in our lives.

"Hi Sidharth" he said with a smile.

"Hello!!" I greeted him back with not so genuine smile.

"Sorry, did I interrupted anything?" he asked and I rolled my eyes. Come to the point, idiot.  I thought.

"Actually, I came here to say that we are done with your project not officially yet because you need to confirm on the last design. I just got a call from my head stating that it's time for us to fly back" he said and it really shocked me.

"Anyways it's nice to work with you, Sidharth" he said and hugged me. I hugged him back.

"It's nice working with you too. Sorry if I hurted you in any aspect. Between when are you leaving? " I asked feeling broken.
