Isn't it weird
isn't it strange
how his fist
is so familiar
it almost becomes comforting
at least you know this territory
you've seen this pain before
but being a good place
being in a healthy relationship is strange
you don't know where to go
or how to act
everything is new
and being lost, blind, and unguided
is the most terrifying of all
isn't it so weird
to be so full of love, hope, trust
and then
be so fragile right after
its so vulnerable
to open your heart
in uncharted territory
Kissing
Although two decades of people
is not a great list
nor something I am proud of
I am still picky
Out of all those numbers
there have been three
good kissers
who stand out
It scared me
to kiss you
but you became number 3
but they don't compare
to you anyway
You are all I need
and all I want
there may have been some before you
I'm sorry you weren't the first
but here you are
worth the wait
Lies
we lie to each other
to spare our feelings
you say you'll stay
and I say I'll be okay
But we both know
that I am too much
and you will leave
and that I will cut
