Author's note - August 28th, 2019

The next chapter won't come out this month and I'm sorry for that. I've lost motivation to write for DR in general long ago which is why updates have been really slow, if any. I'm not going to abandon this story since it only has 2 chapters left to write, but I can't guarantee that the next chapter will be out next month. I'll be doing my best either way.

I am still here, and the last 2 chapters are in the works. That is all I will say right now.

Update 2 - February 16th, 2020

The chapters are done. I'll be posting them on the 20th of February after I take a few more looks at them, but I'll most likely just let them be.

The original plan changed a bit, so now the chapters are much shorter than what they were supposed to. 

Thank you everyone for giving this small and rushed fanfic an unbelievable amount of reads and votes. And thank you for the nice comments, they really helped in gaining a little of my motivation back.

I will unpublish those notes after I post the last 2 chapters as I'll make a final author's note where I'm going to put all the unrelated updates.

As I said in Update 2, I gathered all the author notes and made them public again.

I want to thank you over and over again for giving my first multichaptered fanfic 4.3k reads and almost 200 votes. Most of all, thank you for enjoying this small thing I rushed, just so I could get it done.

I wanted to make this A/N to explain more about the making of the fanfic and about why I took a half year hiatus.

It was fun at first, but even with the short monthly updates it started to become a bit of a chore. I lost interest in DR after the first 4 chapters; I still hung around a bit to write for it since I didn't want to just abandon this fanfic or any of the other stuff I was writing at the time.

I slowly started to get burnt out, until in August I decided I had to take a break. I just couldn't write the fic anymore, even with everything already outlined.

Then it was just unfortunate coincidences. Because of some life problems, I stopped writing. Getting back into it was a little difficult, but I wrote a non DR oneshot and had a lot of fun with it.

A little while after that I touched this fanfic again and wrote only a paragraph. Then, some time later, I could bring myself to write the whole Epilogue, even if a little shorter than the usual update (800 words instead of 1000+). I looked at it once or twice and decided it was good enough.

I can't even remember how the characters actually act. I think they're ooc towards the end, but I have no idea.

If you read this all, thank you for being interested in my little story. You may have noticed I have derpy English sometimes, and my writing is rushed and sloppy in this fic, but thank you for voting, commenting and reading it until the end. I'll treasure this new experience I got and learn to do better next time. (as in, I won't go on such long hiatuses)
