"Clayton!" Brooke called out as she sprinted across the hall to catch up with the varsity jacket wearing boy who was weaving through the crowd furiously. Brooke continued to yell, "Clayton! Stop!"

Alex watched as one of the many spectators. She saw Marina who was scowling as she trudged through the hallway. Jogging up to her, Alex asked, "What was that about?"

"Ugh," Marina groaned, "Clayton found Colton in Brooke's room Sunday night."

"What?" Alex exclaimed.

"Woah, easy there," Marina said, "If you raise your eyebrows any further, you might lose it in your forehead." Alex consciously rubbed her forehead.

"Why was he in Brooke's bedroom?" Alex asked.

Now it was Marina's turn to raise an eyebrow, "You tell me."

Alex rummaged around her bag to find her locker key. She could swear she had put it in one of her pockets this morning... or had it been yesterday morning? Worriedly, she emptied her bag; still not finding her locker key. Alex remembered when Mason mentioning something along the lines of: if you lose your locker key, someone else's would probably work on yours. She asked a bunch of students around her; however, none of the keys seemed to have worked. Then she saw a boy, taking something from his locker besides her.

Clinging onto her last shred of hope, she asked him, "Hey, would you mind if I tried your locker key on my locker? I seem to have lost mine."

The guy agreed and let her try his locker key, which had a Game of Thrones keychain hanging on it. Alex tried the key, but it didn't seem to work.

"Thanks for the key, but it didn't work," Alex said with a tinge of disappointment.

"No problem," he said, "I'm sorry it didn't work." He offered a sympathetic smile.

Alex handed the key to him, seeing the keychain again, she said, "Valar morghulis."

The guy chuckled at the reference to the television show and replied, "Valar dohaeris." Alex watched the Game-of-Thrones guy leave. Sighing, she leaned against her locker, internally scolding herself for losing her locker key.

"Well, that was something," a deep voice made Alex jump. She looked behind to find Ashton Reed, who she got know of through Stella and Isabella's never-ending swoon-session during the dinner party.

"You scared me," Alex whispered.

"My apologies," Ashton said, taking a step closer to Alex, he dangled his locker keys in front of her face, "You want to try mine?"

Alex took the key reluctantly from his big hands. Her luck hadn't served her so far, she doubted it would come to play anytime soon. Alex tried to unlock her locker. She heard the familiar 'click' of the lock. Her heart jumped in joy as the locker opened, revealing her books for the next class. "Oh, thank god!" Alex gasped. He was surprised himself when he heard the click of the locker.

"You're welcome," Ashton Reed smirked. Ashton had seen her face light up as the locker key worked; her eyes got wide and a half-smile played around her cherry lips. He wasn't sure they were cherry, but he imagined them that way.

By the time lunch rolled around, Alex was jogging to keep up with Marina. Alex had failed to fish out the answers about the events of the morning. Despite Clayton and Brooke's fall out, both siblings were seated at the table together. Clayton was grumpily munching on fries while Brooke stared at her slice of pizza quietly.

Just as Alex was about to sit on their table, she felt a firm grip on her arm. She looked to meet Stella's icy grey eyes. Despite her cold eyes, her voice warmly said, "Oh my god, you won't believe what happened Saturday night after your party."

"What party?" Marina frowned.

Isabella popped out of nowhere, "Mind your own business."

Alex shot Marina an apologetic look as the two other girls dragged her away. Both the girls sat down across Alex with their lunch trays.

"I didn't know Redwood had a cheerleading team," Alex said, looking at the tight red cheerleading outfits that the two were sporting. The tops were short and the skirts were shorter, if that was even possible.

"It doesn't," said Isabella.

Stella added, "It's a costume for Redwood High Talent Show. We have a whole choreography to plan in only three months."

"Oh, cool," Alex said, taking another bite of her sandwich, "so, what happened Saturday night?"

Isabella looked longingly at the sandwich Alex was eating. Isabella opened her mouth to say something but Stella cut her off, "Don't even think about it." Groaning, Isabella resorted to her lunch- a fruit salad.

Stella shifted her attention back to Alex and said nonchalantly, "Nothing."

"What?" Alex frowned, "What was that back there then?"

"It's okay, Alex," Stella shrugged, "Don't mention it."

"Yeah, you're welcome," Isabella said, "We saved you from sitting with those losers."

"Losers?" Alex face changed into a face of confusion, "Clayton's the captain of Football team, Marina is a genius and Brooke..."

"Brooke is a slut who slept with Colton Callaghan within two minutes of meeting him," Stella finished for her.

"That's not true..." Alex mumbled.

"Oh yeah?" Stella raised her eyes challengingly, "Then tell me why Clayton was so furious this morning?"

Isabella answered for her, "Because he found the resident bad boy in bed with his goody-two-shoes sister."

"Well, Colton is supposed to tutor Brooke. Maybe that's why he was at her place." Alex said confidently

"On a Sunday? In her bed?" Stella plastered a devilish smirk.

"That's probably why he stormed out of the party so abruptly," Isabella sneered, "To answer baby Brooke's booty call."

Alex shifted uncomfortably on her chair. She wanted to defend Brooke but she simply couldn't. She glanced at Brooke who still hadn't touched her food. Marina was sitting by her side silently munching her chips. She looked deep in thought and Alex couldn't help but wondered if she was thinking about what had happened a few minutes ago.

Her eyes shifted around the cafeteria and landed towards the table at the end of the hall.  Four boys were seated there, one was furiously typing on his laptop; his platinum blond hair seemed like it was glowing in the sun light, next to him was a honey colored boy talking animatedly with his two friends who were opposite to him, they were both listening to him or so she thought, as one of them; the boy with jet black hair, suddenly got up his phone out and a frown on his face. His three friends looked up, as Colton's frown grew to a scowl he dashed out of the cafeteria leaving the whole student body to look up from their tables.

Ashton, Mason and Theo looked around, whispers of 'Colton's got another booty call' were being heard. Theo glared at them and the three followed out leaving the hall with more murmurs and rumors.

"Well that was quite a show," Stella looked amused towards the door and resumed to eating her salad.

"Yeah, I wonder what happened," followed Isabella drinking down the last of her smoothie.

Alex glanced at Brooke's table only to find it empty. 'When did they leave? Where did they go?' Alex thought as she quickly finished off the last of her sandwich and hurried off for math before bell ring.
