It turned out that the lie with the stomach flu hadn't been a lie after all. Over the night Louis developed a quiet high fever. He barely slept having to race to the bathroom every few hours.  Harry was constantly by his side rubbing his back and whispering sweet nothings in his ear.

Louis felt quilty. Harry should sleep and this was the third time in a matter of month were Harry had to take care of him. He would rather enjoy the short amount of time he had with his boyfriend instead of being sick all the time and having Harry take care of him.

When Louis woke up after a night that was not peaceful at all. Harry was no longer laying in bed beside him. And it didn't seem like he was using the guest room's ensuite either. Louis got out of bed putting on a pair of joggers and a hoodie before walking downstairs. A bit unsteady on his feet because of his illness.

When he entered the kitchen Harry wipped his head around shocked that bis boyfriend was out of bed. Louis just smiled wishing everyone a good morning sitting down next to Harry. Although he was not feeling well he wanted Harry to spend some time with his family not having to worry to much about his boyfriend.

There was a large breakfast on the table but Louis had no intention of eating it. He just sat there and listened to the conversation. Then Harry placed a plate with two pieces of lightly buttered bread infront of Louis. The smaller man immediately shook his head.

Putting a hand on his boyfriend's thigh an looking him deep in the eyes he pleaded him:

"Lou, honey please try some your body needs it!"

Louis started nibbling on the toast feeling lost under the concerned glances everyone was giving him.
Anne even got up and made him some herbal tea.

"So we were thinking of visiting one of my sisters today" Anne said, " but now that Louis is not feeling well, I think maybe we should just enjoy a quiet day at home"

Louis immediately protested:
"No please don't, I don't want to ruin your plans, I'm just going to sleep anyway, you should enjoy your freetime, I'll just stay here alone"

"Definitely not!" Harry and Anne answered at the same time.

Louis looked at his boyfriend "Belive me, it's okay, I just stay here go enjoy your time with your family, I 'm not a child that needs to be looked after."

Louis tried to prove that he was fine and able to take care of himself. But it was useless because the next moment he was on his way back to the bathroom. Harry was waiting for him outside the bathroom when he was done. He guided Louis to the couch made him lay down and pulled a blanket over him. Than Harry sat down on the edge and stroked Louis cheek.

"There is no way I'm letting you stay on your own today."

...

Anne and Harry spend the whole day fussing over Louis. But he didn't seem to get better. In the late afternoon Anne suggested that Louis would maybe be more comfortable if he could be at his home in London.

Harry jumped at the idea immediately starting to pack their stuff. But Louis felt really quilty. Being at home and able to rest in his own bed sounded heavenly but they had arrived not even 24 hours ago and here he was dragging Harry  away from his family again.
Wasn't it bad enough that Harry's bestfriend and a part of his own family hated  him already. Apparently not.

Louis didn't even realize that he was quietly crying. So he was shocked when Anne came into the room, rushed to his side and pulled him into a hug.

"What is wrong honey" she asked motherly concern all over her voice.

"I'm sorry" louis answered quietly.
