Izuku Midoriya: childhood (11-13y/o)

(Three months after Izukus birthday)

Izuku was board. He and his mother had been waiting for hours to see the doctor. They were here because Izuku was having problems with his appetite, or rather his lack of one, for over a week.

At first Inko had thought that it was simply nervousness from All Mights revelation about why he was training Izuku, but after a week of watching her son having to force himself to eat, she decided to take her son to see the doctor.

Finally the nurse called for them.

The doctor used her quirk to scan Izukus body. Then began to write out a prescription, handing it to Inko she said, "It's a viral infection, nothing to serious, so this should clear it up fast. I suggest feeding him lots of soup and crackers."

Inko thanked the doctor and then took Izuku to get the medicine.

Unfortunately, the pharmacy they went to was about to become the site of a hostage situation.

As the two were waiting for the prescription to be filled, several armed men stormed into the building. 

After they rounded up all of the customers, they began to call the police. That confused Izuku, he didn't understand why criminals would call the police, until he realized, taking hostages doesn't mean much if no one knows that you have them.

(Two hours later)

The criminals were ready to make there demands, first they wanted the release of Heat Viper, that had been what made people realize that the men were part of the terrorist group Mission from Chaos.

Second was a list of all the quirkless people in the country, that made sense as the group was highly quirkist.

Finally they wanted to be allowed to escape after there first two conditions were met.

What they didn't know was that they had captured All Mights personally chosen successor, and his mother.

And boy, was that a mistake.

The terrorists suddenly had the full and undivided attention of All Might, which they knew was always bad for people on the #1s shit list.

Then they made the ultimate mistake. They hurt Inko.

All Might permanently crippled all of them before they knew what hit them.

(Three hours later)

"Are you two ok?", All Might asked, as he sat in the Midoriyas living room, in his true form.

Inko said, "Yes, just a little shaken up."

Izuku however was deep in thought.

All Might grew concerned, and asked, "What's wrong, young Midoriya?"

Izuku decided, then said, "All Might, how long would you still have your power if you gave me One For All?"

All Might smiled somewhere between hopeful and nervous, "About three years, if I use it conservatively."

Izuku continued, "And if you didn't?"

The #1 sighed, "Maybe a few months, possibly less."

"Then wait to give it to me until I take the exams to get into U.A. so that I can be ready by the time you have to retire.", was Izukus response.

"What!", was the response of the two adults in the room.

Izuku gave them a deadpan look and said, "If we wait until I go to U.A. then there will be less time between your retirement and my debut as a pro hero. It the best way to do this, even if it's illogical."
