Chapter 16
Chasity's POV
I couldn't even concentrate on work for the remanding 3 hours of my shift after I left Tyron on my lunch break. I still can't believe that he's taking me to the Bahamas. The freaking Bahamas! I'm so excited that I could feel my heart beating in my ears from anticipation, and I have a permanent smile on my face that won't go away no matter how hard I try to stop smiling. Ah! I can't wait!
I glanced at the time at the bottom of the computer as I faxed my boss's documents. 6:45pm...only 15 more minutes until I can clock out and head home to change my clothes and get ready for Tyron to come pick me up so we can get on our flight.
My breath then stopped in my throat. Wait a minute.....we're getting on a plane! Fuck! I got so caught up in the thought of leaving the country I totally forgot about my greatest fear of planes! You know what, it's okay Chasity. There are other ways to get to Miami. I'll....I'll just refund him the money he spent on our plane tickets, and then I'll pay for our bus tickets so we can take the Grey Hound to Miami. Not as romantic, but hey, at least we're getting there.
I faxed my boss's documents over before I began tidying up my desk, just trying to bypass time so that way when 7:00 hit, I can be out. I sorted out papers and folders in my drawer, rearranged the pencil holder, put a new batch of staples in the Stapler, wiped down my desk with Clorox disinfected wipes. Finally I glanced back at the time on my computer....7:01. Yes baby! Time to leave!
I quickly clocked out my shift before I grabbed my purse and phone, and ran out the glass doors, anxious as hell to get home. The elevator ride felt like it took years, but when I finally got to the lobby I ran out the building and to my car, before I hopped into the drivers side and drove away.
I stopped off at Mc Donalds and got myself a Medium Caramel Frappe with extra caramel before I continued my drive to my apartment. After a few more minutes I pulled up into my driveway and I hopped out the car and made my way to my front door.
"Yandy!" I called as I entered our apartment.
"I'm inside your room!" she called back immediately.
I shut the front door and locked it, and I walked to my room and pushed the already cracked door open, to see Yandy on the floor with my Louis Vuitton suitcase on the floor next to her. There was clothes scattered all around my room, and there was a small pile of clothes next to Yandy that she was folding and putting into my suitcase. My heart warmed at the sight, I really have amazing people in my life.
