Chapter 21

Chasity's POV

I sighed as I typed up the emails and sent it to my boss's clients, biting my lip hard because of the pounding headache that I'm currently enduring. I feel like shit.

As you can tell, it's currently Tuesday afternoon and I'm back in Virginia. I tried my hardest to enjoy the rest of the cruise trip, but honestly all I wanted to do was sleep. Even when we got to the Bahamas the cruise members let people off of the boat so that we could do a little sight seeing for a couple of hours. But, when I tell you Tyron could not get me out that bed to step foot on Bahama's beach, it was ridiculous. I don't know where the sudden fatigue and drowsiness came from, but I was feeling it on the boat and I'm feeling it now that I'm back home. I just haven't been feeling too good for a few days now. I go to work and school and then come back home to sleep. I don't eat much either because the thought of certain foods repulses me.

I must have a flu or something. We are currently in January and it's been a little nippy outside, or maybe while on the cruise I caught something. We were doing so many things and touching a lot of surfaces, maybe I caught something then because that's when I had started feeling sick. I don't know, but I believe that I just have a little common cold that some good o'l Robitussin, Vicks, Halls, and Chicken Noodle Soup can easily fix.

I glanced up at the clock as I typed up the last of the emails for my boss. It's 3:00, which means that it's time for my lunch break. But right now the thought of lunch makes me wanna throw up, so I guess when Ty comes to pick me up on my lunch break; as he does everyday, maybe we could drive around and talk or something until it's time for me to go back to work.

I sighed as I saved my work before logging out of my email and clocking out for my lunch break. I'm not really hungry but I'm weirdly craving an Oreo Mc Flurry from Mc Donalds, which is weird because the last time I had a Mc Flurry was when I was 10 years old and plus I'm not a huge ice cream person. I don't know, but I'm in no mood to try and put much thought into it.

I got my purse together and grabbed my phone to text Ty and see where he's at, but he had already sent me a text 10 minutes ago.

I frowned as I read his message over, feeling a pang of sadness creep into my heart. My lunch breaks are our 'us' time on the weekdays being that we're so busy during the week. I wonder what happened and why he's rain checking.

I sat down into my rolling chair as I quickly went to my call log and pressed Ty's name, before I took my Air Pods out of my purse and plugged them into my ears. The phone rung for a while and at first I thought he wasn't going to answer. He's probably really busy.
