Chapter 40
Tyron's POV
"Chasity Jones" the lady that was standing at the podium called after what felt like a century, and I immediately stood to my feet, followed by everyone else in our group.
It's officially been 5 months, and today is the day that Chasity is finally graduating College with her Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioning. Saying that I'm proud of her is an understatement, it's to the point where I just not only love her to death, but the respect I have for her determination and hustle is crazy.
She finished her internship, took her national exam and passed, all while working and being a full time mom. And I could see it in her eyes, many of nights she was tired, and many of days she came to me crying saying that she wanted to give up and drop out of school, but I wouldn't let her. I pushed her and helped motivate her, even nights when she cursed me out because she was sleep deprived. I just did my part and gave her pep talks, along with doing my part as a father and helping out with Jasmine. There's times I even took Jasmine to the restaurant with me, just so Chassy could squeeze a nap in.
But I can't take all the credit, everyone played a part. From Yandy and Adrienne spending nights at my house to help out with Jasmine when me and Chasity were tired, to Chasity's mom, Taylor or my grandparents watching Jazzy while we went to work. I even woke up one night and caught Sierra in the kitchen with a crying Jasmine in her arms, making her a bottle at 3:00 in the morning. Everyone around us helped out with Jasmine, especially because they knew the load that Chasity was taking on by doing her internship and working at the same time.
I'm just grateful for the people that I have around me, and I'm grateful to have such a hard working motivated black queen by my side. All of Chasity's hard work paid off, and I'm happy that she never gave up even when she wanted to.
I watched as Chasity slowly stood from the first row after her name was called, only wearing her black graduation cap over her silk pressed hair that flowed down her back. But she wasn't wearing her gown, showing off her sexy figure in her teal colored silk dress that stopped at her ankles. My girl was the finest woman in this place, and I couldn't help but bite my lip as I stared at her.
All those months ago when Chasity felt insecure about her postpartum shape, we immediately started hitting the gym together, with me lowkey becoming like her personal trainer. And when she was tired from working and didn't feel like going to the gym, we worked out at home while watching exercising videos on YouTube.
I had also found out that she was starving herself to help her loose weight faster, and I instantly shut that shit down. But I started cooking healthy for her, looking up healthy meal plans and stuff on YouTube and TikTok. It all worked out well, and Chasity went from 187lbs and down to 154lbs. She's not the weight she was before she got pregnant like she wanted to be, but never the less she still looks amazing. And her weight is in all the right places. That ass looks scrumptious when I'm hitting it from the back, and them big titties feel amazing in my mouth. And when they're bouncing in my face when she's--
