Just get here soon

Aweeee are you impatient to see me again?

You acting cute isn't attractive

You surely thought so enough to date me, huh babe??

Texting and driving isn't safe. Just get here

I put my phone down and sit on my bed. "Mi Hija, I have your..." She stops speaking when she sees me. "Who are you seeing looking like that?" I just have on a bright yellow long sleeved crop top with light blue skinny jeans and white slip on vans.

"I'm going to the fair with a few friends." I respond white pulling my hair into a ponytail with an elastic. "I asked earlier this week and you said that I could go."

"Who's all going?"

"Katelyn, Nana, Lucinda, Nicole, Teony, Garroth, Travis, and Aaron."

"Aaron? Didn't you date him freshmen year?"

"Mama."

"That was a nice boy, I won't lie. But you didn't say anything about Laurence. Is something going on between you two?" Not many people know that Laurence and I are broken up, especially my mom.

The doorbell rings, saving me from answering her question. "That must be Aaron."

"Aaron? He's picking you up? Seriously, what's going on with you and Laurence?" She asks as I stand up and grab my phone and wallet.

"I better get going, mom." I walk out of my room and down the hallway. My mom's following me and asking a million questions.

"Are you and Laurnece broken up? Why is Aaron the one picking you up? Isn't Laurence going with you guys?" I open the door so she can stop asking questions.

"Hi, Aaron."

"Hi, Aphmau. Ms. Everton." He waves to my mom and she waves back to him. "Nice to see you. It's been a while."

"It surely has. How have you been?" This is not happening.

"I've been okay. How ab-" I step outside with Aaron.

"We better get going before the gang starts questioning where we are. I'll see you later, Mama." I close the door. "Really?"

"Oh don't be like that, Aph. I was just be polite." He shrugs and I roll my eyes while crossing my arms. "What's wrong, babe?"

"Don't call me that, Aaron." He just wraps an arm around my shoulders and starts walking us over to his car.

"You know you love it."
