The music playing consumed me. I moved my hips to every beat, the loud music seemed to make my broken heart disappear.
There was a bar in the club, people in everything seat. Pretty girls getting hit on.

After two years of dating, I was dropped like I was nothing. It hurt, I didn't know what I did or where I went wrong. I wanted to fix things but it felt like an impossible task, I obviously didn't matter to him but to me; he was the world.

I had tried so hard to keep that relationship together but it's hard, especially accepting the fact that there's nothing I can do anymore.
I thought that I could trust him. I thought he would be different, that he wasn't like the other guys.

I miss him, I miss the friendship we shared before everything but, I have to let go.
"Hey" I heard a deep voice say, I wasn't sure if it was someone speaking to me but I turned and looked anyway.
He was beautiful, short hair. A tear tattoo on his flawless face, and a golden chain hanging from his neck. He looked like danger and I loved it.

"Can I help you?" I asked, curious as to what he wanted.
"Do you want to come sit with me?" He questioned.
I scrunched my face up, wondering why he was asking me.

"Sure, don't spike my drink," I spoke.
I made my way to the bar, spots had cleared up by now. I took a seat, I was planning on just ordering one drink.

I saw the stranger sit-in the seat beside me, I hadn't even asked his name.
"I'll have a beer and she'll have" he trailed off while speaking to the bartender, wondering what I wanted.
"A vodka, please," I said.

I looked at him, staring. "What's your name?" He suddenly looked at me and asked.
"Gemma." I started simply, the bartender slid my drink in front of me and I instantly took a sip, wanting to forget everything.

"How about you, what's your name?" I smiled.
"My names Oscar" he grinned. His grin made me want to grin. He had a sparkle in his eye, but at the same time he looked dead inside, I want to get to know him better.
He seems interesting.

We talked for hours, just sitting there at the bar. The loud music, fights and people around us didn't matter. I was solely focused on him and his beautiful face. His body language changed when he talked about something he loved.

"I had an amazing time tonight, Oscar" I spoke. It was late and I needed to get home soon. Although I didn't want to, I wanted to spend more time with Oscar and just learn more.

"You better call me" he spoke and I smiled back at him.
"Of course I will" I smiled and walked away, we had exchanged numbers earlier.

Even talking to him for a few hours meant something. I just hope he doesn't end up breaking my heart like the last, maybe he's just a friend and maybe that's all I need right now.
