Mia's pov

________________

The rest of the week passed in a happy, but uneventful, blur. I did get a lashing from India about skipping school, who told mum. Man I do NOT want to go through a conversation like that again!

Anyways, the rest of the week went by, day by day. Each one brought me closer to Damon. I haven't known him long, but I already don't know I'd do with out him.

Especially now that I can barely sleep with out him by my side.

I had a weekend planned with Damon at the cabin, I can't wait! But he still won't bring me to his house, it's confusing me. What is he hiding?

"You ok Mia?" Damon's quizzical voice broke me from my confused thoughts. I blinked a few times, clearing my head, before turning to him. Smiling I nodded.

"Yeah, just tired." I lied, I wasn't tired at all. His eyes narrowed but he took my answer anyway. A bang sounded from upstairs, followed by a squeal. I rolled my eyes, India and Drake are at it again. Looking at Damon, I saw him doing the same thing.

"Shall we leave em' to it?" Damon asked chucking to him self, I nodded. He grinned, grasping my hand firmly in his own. I squealed as he yanked me off the sofa.

He led me to his car, opening the door for me, I smiled and hopped in.

"Where are we going?" I questioned, cocking my head to the side.

"My house." He revealed a bit stiffly. I gasped silently, we're really going to his house! Yes! I finally get to meet more of his pack.

The loud roar of the engine sounded, and soon we were flying down the road. Still not used to the speed of Damon's death machine, I clutched the seat for dear life. God I hate this car!

Before I could hate Damons car anymore, it slowed down. Looking around all I saw was forest, nothing else. That is apart from the large cottage that stood tall in the middle of two large oaks. Who lives here? Lucky sods!

"We are here." Damon said softly. Here? Where is the pack house? Wolfs running around and playing. I turned to look at Damon, his gaze was turned downwards as he shifted from foot to foot.

"I don't get it?" I stuttered, he looked up at me. Sadness loomed in his beautiful eyes, making my wolf whimper at the sight of our sad mate. "Damon?" I said questionably, he sighed

"I don't live in the pack house." he mumbled, his eyes never leaving my own. I wonder why? "I couldn't stay there, to many bad memory's." oh.

"What memory's?" I asked gently, not wanting to pry.

"My family." he stated simply, I nodded in understanding, I would do the same.

"Is your mother here to?" I questioned, I would love to meet her. He shook his head rapidly.

"No, she prefers to stay with the pack. I think it's because she feels closer to my father there." he told me, I smiled sadly.

"Do you get lonely?" he nodded solemly, I felt tears brim in my eyes. He has been through so much. "You will never be lonely again." I whispered, but his werewolf hearing picked it up just fine.
