Excitement and Worry

~{1 Month after Cynthia laid her and Argos Egg}~

Argo is finishing up reading a scroll on parenting, he sighs and sets it in a pile with over 50 scrolls of the same topic, before rubbing his eyes. "How am I going to do this, I don't know anything about parenting." He says.

Cynthia walks into the room, looks at him, and freezes. "The fuck....what are you doing." She says before walking over to him and sitting in front of him.

Argo will look to her. "Worrying about being a parent and staying up all night reading scrolls on parenting." He said, pointing behind and to his sides, revealing over 250 scrolls on the subject.

Cynthia will stare at each pile for about 3 second each before looking back to her husband. "Argo, you will be a great father, if you put as much effort into our kid when they hatch as you are now, you will be the best father they could ask for." She says, grabbing him by the shoulders as she does, before letting go and nuzzling him.

Argo will smile lightly as she does that. "Yeah I know, I just....I want them to be happy....and well, I just don't know if I can give that to them." He says, looking a little sad.

Cynthia baps him on the face with her tail as she looks to him. "Argo, I love you, but you an absolute fucking idiot. You can absolutely make them happy, your kind, funny, do random, crazy, and funny shit all the time, you're one of Queen Ruby's most trusted friends for fucks sake, so yes you can VERY EASILY MAKE OUR CHILD HAPPY YOU HANDSOME IDIOT!!!" She grabs him by the shoulders and shakes him violently.

Argo will pause for about 10 seconds after she finishes shaking him and letting him go, then look to her. "I've been overthinking this whole thing haven't I."

Cynthia will smirk as he says that. "Yes, very much so." She says before walking over and nuzzling him again.

Argo will smile as she does that and will nuzzle back before walking over to a chest in the corner of the room. "Well, I at least know I have 1 thing down."

Cynthia will tilt her head to the side, "What's that?." She says, curious about what he got right an the chest.

Argo will smile and open the chest, lifting the lid, revealing a couple different toys and bits of jewelry, as well as an envelope, he picks up the envelope and closes the chest. "I got her a couple things to play with as a kid, yet also got her something that'll come into play in about 4 years after she's born."

Cynthia has a confused expression on her face. "What good will an enve......WAIT A SECOND!! You got her a JMA certification early!" She explodes, looking highly surprised.

"Yep, wanna make sure she gets the best education possible, and also make a few inter-tribe friends and understand and eliminate tribal stereotypes that aren't correct, and also have a little adventure." He says, smiling slightly.

"I don't know how you did it, but you did, and i'm impressed. Still, i'm a little mad you didn't ask me first, but I would've said yes anyways so fuck it." Cynthia says before walking over to the door. "You wanna go have a walk around the castle, I heard Amber and Carnelian are aro-" before she can say that their door swings open revealing the two they were just talking about, "-nevermind."

"Hey Cynny, good to see you!" Amber says as she tackles Cynthia in a hug. Carnelian walks in a second later, smiling lightly at Amber before turning to Argo. "So, how have you guys been." She says.

Argo opens the chest and puts the letter in it and closing it before turning back to her. "Pretty good Carneliean, how have you and Amber been." He says. Carnelian smiles and looks over to Amber, who is getting off of Cynthia. "Good, very good, great in fact."

Cynthia will stand up and wince as she does. "Okay......I need to go lay down." She says, before walking, slowly, to her and Argos bedroom. Amber looks worried about why she did so slowly.

Argo will look to her. "Don't worry about her, she's just really sore, she did just lay mine and her egg a month ago." He says. They both turn to him, looking surprised. "Wait." Carnelian says, "WHAT!" Amber finishes for her sentence.

Argo will cock his head to the side and look to them both. "Wait, you two didn't know about that, I thought I sent you a letter." He says.

Amber will look to him like he had grown a second head. "NO, WE DIDN'T KNOW, also what letter?" She says, at first exclaiming, then in confusion.

Carnelian will freeze for a second then look to Argo. "The letter, was it wrapped in black paper?" She asks him, "Yeah." He relies, "Okay, so I MIGHT have mistaken it for a letter I got a day earlier, and thought it was similar so I threw it away, sorry."

Argo looks to her, gives her a thumbs up, before looking to Amber. "Also Amber, how was you and Carnelians time in the sky kingdom been so far."

Amber looks up to him and smiles, "Quite nice, were thinking of buying a house here and moving from our midway point between it and the mud kingdom."

"Ah, I see, if that's the case Carnelian, you might want to resume your post as general." Argo says before pulling out a piece of paper, "I've got the authentication papers."

Carnelian will take the papers and look to Amber, "Let's move in here, as you know i'm a military gal, and can also by rejoining make a little more money than I am currently." She says, Amber will look to her and say. "If you want to, I will." Then Amber nuzzles Carnelian.

Argo will look at the two and smile, "Imma go check on Cynthia, what're you two gonna do." He says.

They both look at him at the same time and in unison say, "Sauna." before both of them say "Goodbye." "Bye." Argo says to them and goes to his and Cynthia's bedroom, finding her sleeping on the bed, smiling her curls up next to her, before going to sleep himself.
