Annabeths POV
It's the first day of twelfth grade. Percy and I have decided to go to the same school and live together. For now, 'together' is in his moms apartment. We share a room and at times... It's awkward because his moms there and ya know... Stuff...
Anyways...
Percy is driving us to school for the first day. At first, I objected to him driving.
"Are you sure your not going to kill us our first day coming to school?" I questioned.
He pouted.
"Come on. If you wanna live up to your name wise girl, you should let me drive." He smirked.
I smirked back.
"Ah I see what your doing. Okay. Let's go."
He smiles and we wave goodbye to his mother. I like Sally a lot. She is kinda like the mother I never had because my step mom is NOTHING like a mother and my mother... Well she's Athena...
We get into the car and Percy smirks as he puts the key in to start the ignition.
"What?" I smile back.
"I love you." He says.
I grab his hand.
"I love you too."
With that, we start the drive to Goode high school. Percy's step father, Paul Blofis is a 9th grade teacher. He could have driven us to school, but Percy insisted on driving.
I didn't even realize what started blasting on the radio. Of course, Percy's favorite CD. The little mermaid.
"SHALALALALALLALA! KISS THE GIRL!" He yelled.
I laugh at how stupid he is. He's so adorably dumb.
At a red light, he leans over and kisses me.
I smile upon his lips.
"Why are you so perfect?" I ask
"I just had to do that."
I laugh.
