Descend Into Oblivion

The Beginning - Prologue

An old text was recently discovered in Europe dating back to the Dark Ages that unfolds a dark and untold chapter in Human History. When the Black Plague consumed Europe... an ancient evil known as the Demonic Azuna Legion emerge from an hellish realm known as Oblivion (Hell) to eradicate Humanity in a quest of conquest for their realm. They showed no mercy to the crumbling armies of Humanity as eternal darkness shrouded the world, the undead rises in great numbers and several catastrophic events such as earthquakes and plagues occurred that nearly bring Humanity to extinction. The Demonic Forces were so strong that their entire legion sweep upon Europe and their armies like swarms. Humanity was losing the war and have lost hope for victory. Their only options was to prey to the gods to end this bloodshed or at least grant them strength in continuing fighting until their dying breath.

At that point, only parts of Western Europe remains as the standing army of mankind were prepared for the final attack and certainly their death. Suddenly a blinding light from the sky bursts through the tainted clouds of Oblivion, emerging winged angels that come to aid Humanity in their fight against evil. An epic battle erupts as the entire world shook, sea of flames erupted like volcano, the skies filled with angels and demons as they clashed each other in an endless fight to the death with Humanity torn apart by the battle between Good and Evil. The Angels proved to be stronger than the Demonic Forces and manage to drive them back to their realm.

The Hellmouth, an entrance to the domination of the Azuna Legion was sealed off by the Angels and cast a powerful magical seal to ensure Humanity is safe. Mankind rejoiced in victory and gratitude for their saviors, but the losses was too high and the world devastated. This important historical text has remained hidden in the past thousand years until recently found by British archaeologists.

It is unclear if any of these texts are true, but in reality no one knows what really happened in the Dark Ages as many different cultures throughout the globe have explained something similar based on the events of the Dark Ages. In China, there has been a recent discovery of strange organic-like substances shrouding an ancient temple dating back to the Ming Dynasty in the outskirts of Shanghai. Ancient Japan describing of an ancient and evil entity emerging from the sea that nearly swallowed the entire island. However these are just tales from the past... once these texts were discovered, another form of evil has emerged in the headlines of recent modern history.

Rise of the Black Order

The year is 2023... Mankind reached a Golden Age in technological advancement, however countless conflicts continue to reign across the globe such as the recent war between Saudi Arabia and Iran, which skyrocketed oil prices by ten folds, crippling the U.S. Economy and ensured civil unrest. However that was just the beginning... a powerful explosive device of unknown compounds was detonated in the heart of Tokyo, completely eradicated all life in the capital, leaving Japan in great panic and disarray. This was the Black Order doing, an ancient cult and terrorist organization that was formed after the events of the Dark Ages.

No one knows who they are, but their followers and resources are infinite, highly organized unlike other terrorist organizations in the past, access to advanced technology and military hardware in the Black Market, and having their very own standing army that can rival any nations. They're known for their propaganda broadcasts, but recently have gained the ability to alter the minds of people to manipulate them in joining their cause and do radical things. They spread evil and corruption among cooperation to cause wars and gain funds from current conflicts to fuel their cause. The Black Order are a force to be reckoned in the 21st Century. They have clearly stated in a public broadcast that they will fulfill their "master" wishes and shroud Humanity in eternal darkness.

Suddenly massive global uprising occurred in every major cities as the Black Order commenced their dark crusade against the world. Major infrastructures and nuclear plants were constantly targeted by the Black Order in order to derail the countries and it has been successful. They destroyed nuclear plants based in Germany, Russia, Pakistan, India, China, and Japan, gathering large amounts of Intel through cyberattack and causing the Wall Street Market to crash, creating a global economic crisis.

The United Nations collapsed following the Rise of the Black Order, rendering nations scattered and broken after relentless conflicts with the Black Order. However another ancient cult known as the Order of Light have made contact with the world through public broadcast. They claimed to be Humanity's only ally and last hope against the Black Order. They were willing to assist with the best of their expertise and Intel, but their transmission was easily overwritten by the Black Order and threaten the world that if anyone should support the Order of Light will suffer dire consequences. Following the collapse of the United Nations, the Black Order continued to spread their influences and corruption among nations including full takeover of Northern Africa.

The Order of Light have attempted to spread their message across the globe, however their influences have deteriorated with the Black Order constantly jamming their frequencies. The Order of Light knew their enemy was one step forward, leaving them no choice but to perform drastic measures and deploying their forces in secret operations to stop the Black Order evil intentions at all cost. The world is between the balance as the battle for good and evil is imminent... an dark storm is rising from the East and calling of an ancient demonic entity is at the horizon...
