After The Battle of Moscow

A civilian meets certain death during an intense storm while exploring the ruins of Moscow. The weather and radioactive fallout was too much for him despite his military-grade NBC gear. He collapses in the open streets after taken a few steps and gasping for air one last time. He saw something think in the storm as he stood up and crawl forward to get a closer look. Deep through the thick clouds... a gateway was hovering above the Kremlin with a legion of winged demons and dragons circling around it.

The Heart of Mother Russia has fallen to the hands of true darkness... Red Square was the last battlefront between the Azuna Legion and the Russian military. Both fought hard over Moscow, however Lord Korian suddenly emerged in the heat of battle and quickly turns the tide for the Azuna Legion. The Russians realized there was only one option left... all-out nuclear attack. A tactical mistake they've paid dearly... despite the nuclear warheads wiping out the majority of the demonic forces, Lord Korian survived the attack and was able to continue the invasion by rebuilding his army and opening the gateway above Moscow.

The Russian Federation completely collapsed after Moscow and Saint Petersburg was taken by the demonic forces. However the remnants of the government and the civilian population are still holding out strong in the metro stations. As of now, they are surviving the nuclear winter, but gaining a steady supply of food and ammo will be more difficult. I also fear the worst for their safety after they recently unearthed an ancient Azuna artifact.

A Paladin blending among the population happens to inform the High Order of their recent discovery. That's when all contact was lost to the Paladin as well as the station. I was dispatched to investigate Central Station and recover this artifact. Many others disagree on my methods... but I prefer to operate alone. They're not ready... even if they were trained extensively, they are not ready to face pure evil. I have reached the entrance to Central Station... who knows what evil lies within, but may the Saints guide me through the path of darkness.

Many have spoken about his legend, his remarkable skill with a sword and his ability to kill several enemies at once in split second. His mastery with sword and powerful magical spells have left him with no enemies and over the past years he is doing his best to stop the Black Order from unleashing the Azuna Legion out of Oblivion. Nobody know his name, but his title "The Holy Paladin" speak for itself. He takes a moment of silence as he stood in the open field of Red Square where thousands of Russian soldiers fought and died here.

He can still hear the sound of battle just faintly around his surroundings, yet nothing but an open field of snow with wreckage of T-14 and T-80 tanks and corpses frozen as if the battle happened a day ago.

"It's a shame many soldiers died here," he thought. "If only the world listened to our warnings... but like they always said... our enemy is always one step ahead. I still don't understand why the High Order just stand back and watch the outcome. We should be out there protecting them."

He continues to Central Station, breaking the lock on the gate with his sliver sword and ventured forward. The wind howls as he walks down the long, dark stairs into the metro station despite the danger lying ahead. He was already being watched by dark forces within the shadows and beyond reality.

Once he was inside Central Station, he took off his gas mask, revealing his face. He was Caucasian, average height and weight, but young and strong. His face was innocent, yet his brown eyes are cold and fierce. He had his curly hair tied into a ponytail and wore an advanced fiberglass plate carrier enchanted with magic protection.
