5 | GAME OVER

Manik's POV

I ran down the empty street as I hid behind a truck. I refilled my gun with more buyers to get ready to attack my opponent. My opponent's sword was stained with blood that wasn't mine. I shuffled to the side of the truck and awaited in attack and possibly inevitable death. My enemy swivelled in my direction, his menacing eyes were a blazing red and his dark hood made the rest of his features indistinguishable. I replaced the gun in my hand with a blazing sword. Immediately I was attacked by my enemy, he thrust his sword forward only to be met by the sword. Both of our swords met in the air with a resounding 'clang '. All of a sudden my sword was slammed out of my reach, I tried dodging his sword from slashing my skin open. I immediately took hold of his hand that was holding the sword, I slammed his hand against the wall while his sword fell to the ground. His back was against the wall, an image flash through my mind of how I pushed Nandini against the wall while I devoured her neck. My mind was consumed by her, the way those soft moans escaped from her lips, the way she responded immediately to my touch. Again my opponent has taken over my body as I fell to the ground with no weapon to fight back. He manages to take the sword away from the ground as he slashes my throat open. "GAME OVER" it reads on the computer.

I was immediately brought out of my trance as Trenton's voice echoed from the background. Trenton is my close friend I chose to keep around and he is really a pain in the ass. I love playing video games with him cause I know I would also beat his ass down. But this time around was different, I was a little bit distracted.

"I won! At last, I won!" He kept singing.

"Just shut up! Man," I tried keeping him shut.

"What happened to you? You just zoomed out. What's in that ugly head of yours?"

"Can you just please shut the hell up we both know you wouldn't have won"

"Since I won the gate it my turn to get your ass drunk"

"Yes, way!"

"Go dress up and get ready to get your ass drunk!"

I wasn't even pissed he won, I was pissed at myself that I allowed her to get into my head. No girl has ever gotten to me like this. She is just so innocent and she got me wrapped around her finger.

I strip down and step slowly into the tub, turning the water on high and letting it beat over my head in steamy rivulets. Closing my eyes to the water as the heat soaks into my skin, I lean against the cool tiles as I close my eyes to embrace the feelings.
