It was a dark night. Grey clouds were fluttering across the starless sky, occasionally hiding the moon behind them. Street Lights were just there as a showpiece – occasionally blinking lights and then going out, giving a haunted look to the deserted street. The man kept himself to shadows, looking both ways to make sure no one was following.
Once he was sure, he walked briskly into the woods. He turned on the torch and started to walk deeper into the forest.
