Group Project:
Christina's POV:
So this is great. First day of school and we already have a project?! Ugh and I don't even have Mike to do it with. The only good thing about it is that I have Kiara and Elysa, and Pat and Shane. And Derek but um, he doesn't really matter...Anyways today was pretty good besides this stupid project. I just wish Mike was here but I guess I'll have to make the best of what I have. Speaking of Mike I should probably call him to see how his first day of HighSchool went!
"Hey Mike! I missed you today! How was highschool?" I asked as soon as he picked up. I could sense his smile through the phone.
"It was great! I made a couple of friends that are pretty cool I guess. How was your day, beautiful?" Mike said to me. Not gonna lie, when he calls me beautiful my heart slightly stops beating!
"It was okay, I mean you know how this stupid school is!" I joked. "No, it was cool I guess. There's a new kid named Derek that's in all of our classes and he just moved from California! How cool is that? I love California!" I told Mike, hoping he won't go crazy.
"Oh, erm, uh yeah that's cool. Does he um know you have a boyfriend?" Mike asked, obviously concerned by the topic.
"Well that didn't really come up in conversation but Mike before you get mad just please think rationally! I only started talking to him because he had your old locker next mine and he's my seating partner! Mikey, trust me, no one and nothing can or ever will replace you!" I explained to Mike before he became irrational about this. It's the truth.
"You're right. I love you. Look I gotta go finish homework but I'll call you tomorrow. They actually give us work here! Love you beautiful!" Mike said, his tone changing. He obviously can tell that I go crazy when he calls me beautiful and he obviously does it on purpose. Ugh boys.
"I love you too Mikey!" I replied because I know that he loves it when I call him Mikey. Two can play at this game!:)
The line clicked off and I realized that we had to start working on our project and that everyone was coming over in like 5 minutes.Yay.

Derek's POV:
I'm on my way to Christina's house for the project. I'm not gonna lie, I'm excited to see her again but I doubt she feels the same way. I mean she's probably there with her boyfriend right now. I notice that everyone is waiting outside her door about to ring it so I run up to them. She opens that door and we all walked in.
"Hey guys! Snacks are in the kitchen, just grab whatever you want, you guys know the drill." Christina says with a big smile on her face.
"Drill?" I question jokingly. Christina laughs and explains.
"Oh, well usually everyone just walks into my house and raids the kitchen for food. My parents don't really care and neither do I. It's kinda like our thing so basically since you're our friend now too, you're officially allowed to do the same." Christina said smiling. I nodded and we walked into her kitchen with everyone else. Still no sight of a boyfriend?!
"So what should we do first?" Elysa asks as she bites into a slice of pizza.
"Uh, I don't know. Well let's start in the board. I mean all we have to do is make a poster with our hopes and dreams for this year. Not too complicated." Shane suggests. We all agree and start while snacking on whatever food there is. I still have yet to see a boyfriend. Yes!
We finish our project within 2 hours so we just hang out afterwards. We go downstairs to Christina's room because according to everyone there, I just HAVE to see it. I'm not so sure what's so great about a girl's room but okay.
We walk downstairs to her room and now I realize why it's so amazing! She has a huge flatscreen, millions of trophies(literally), an Xbox, a Wii, and a laptop and load of CDs and movies. She literally has the teenage girl version of an arcade. I can see why everyone just walks in her house to hang.
"Your room is so cool!" I compliment and Pat and Shane grab my arms and pull me over to the Xbox. This is so cool.
"Thanks, it used to be just a hang out room but then I put my stuff in here too so now it's my hangout room, personally designed for me by me." Christina says and laughs. Her laugh is so cute. Since when does Derek have a crush like this?! Damn hormones.
Christina's door opens and in comes a boy about our age or a year older. She runs into his arms and he kisses her forehead. So I guess she does have a boyfriend. Oh.
"Mike!" Christina yells as she hugs him tightly while smiling that smile that I love so much. So close.
"Christina! I missed you,beautiful!" He charms as he hugs her back. I'm gonna admit, they are a cute couple but I do wish that was me.
"Who's this? New friend for the group?" Mike smirks at me. Okay then.
"Yeah, this is Derek, the one I told you about before that just moved here from California!" Christina says as I reach out to shake Mike's hand. He reaches out his hand reluctantly and slightly tenses up. Excuse me did I do something?
"Nice to meet you." Mike says politely. I really hope he doesn't hate me because I still want to be there friends and he seems pretty chill.
"Same to you." I said to Mike and sat down. Well this should be fun.
