Mike's POV:
I'm so happy she liked the necklace I bought her. I knew she really wanted it. Anything to see her smile.
I see Steven coming. Jess is behind him.
"Hey Mike." Steven says shyly.
"Um hi." I say equally as shy/awkward. I don't even know why he's trying to talk to me.
"Mike, this is gonna sound strange but the truth is, I miss you. You were my best friend and now I have no one. Please, I'm really sorry Mike. Yeah, I'll admit, I do like Christina a lot but she's your girlfriend and I respect that. Just please be my friend again." Steven pleas. Wow.
"Steven, look, you were like my bro for so long and I honestly didn't want to end our friendship. But I don't think we would ever be as close as that again but I will he your friend. Look I believe when you say you'll respect my love life so I'll be your friend again, we'll see how things go. So how's life been?"

Steven's POV:
"...So how's life been?"
I guess I should tell him everything. I need to let it all out. Oh, the thing u want to tell him is, my parents are getting a divorce. I've been really lonely lately because of this. I don't even know why they're getting divorced because they rarely fight but I don't know. I guess that's their business. I have no clue if my sister and brother and I are staying with my mom or dad but it's probably my mom. Anyways, yeah. I didn't tell anyone that. So when you say, "Steven has love issues", you're probably right.
"Well, um, it sucks." I say. "My parents are getting a divorce." I tell him.
"Oh, I'm sorry,man" Mike says, obviously not sure what to say.
"It's alright I guess." I say. I realize Jess is long gone and I have no clue where she went but frankly, I don't care.
Christina comes running in with Kiara and Elysa.
"OHMYGOSH! MIKE THERE YOU ARE! HELP!" Christina screams and the other girls look scared.
"WHAT HAPPENED?!" Mike asks nervously.
"Its Jackie your cousin! She was at the park with Cassie and some guy pushed her off the high slide and she fell and she's hurt! Cassie is there with her still but she said she wanted you! Mike she looks really hurt! LETS GO!" Christina says.
"Uh, do you need me to come?" I ask. Obviously he girls were unaware that I was talking to Mike without him giving me a black eye.
"Um, sure, I might need all the help I can get!" Mike says. We all run out quickly towards the park where we see a hurt looking Jackie and a scared looking Cassie.
"Oh my gosh, Jackie are you okay? How bad are you hurt? Where's the pain?" Mike asks. When it comes to injuries, Mike is your guy.
"It's arm and my leg! Mike they really hurt." Jackie cries.
"Oh my gosh, your leg. It looks...broken." Mike shouts. Her shin bone was like popped out.
"Mike please help me!" Jackie shouts.
"Okay I will! Christina, call my mom and tell her to come here now! Elysa,, call 911. Kiara, go ask for a cup of ice from Dunkin Donuts™. Steven help me lift her onto the bench! Cassie, you go with Kiara!" Mike demands.
"OWWWWW!" Jackie screams as we lift her!
