Christina's POV:
So tonight is this stupid end of the year dance. It's kinda like the Harvest Dance we had in the fall if you remember that it's basically the same thing. It's form grades 4th through 8th, personally I think it should just be middle school kids but we obviously can't argue with the Parent Association. Ugh.
I walked into the dance and saw Elysa, Kiara, Shane, Georgia, Pat, Mike, Chris, Steven and some other friends.
"Hey guys." I say as I walk up to them.
"Hey beautiful! You look amazing!" Mike said very gentlemanly.
"Thank you! So do you!" I greeted back, although he was wearing kaki shorts and a nice Aeropostale T-shirt and I was wearing an Aztec printed skirt with a black top. Nothing amazing.
"Let's dance!" Kiara shouted. She took Shane's hand and ran to the dance floor. Pat grabbed Elysa and ran. Chris went with a friend. Georgia danced with her boyfriend Joey. But Steven just sat there alone. I kinda felt bad but I couldn't so anything about it. So I won't do anything about it, but I'll get someone else to!
"Mike, I'll be right back!" I tell Mike and run to my friend in Steven's class.
"Gabriella, can you dance with Steven? You like him and he doesn't have a 'date' to dance with so can you please?" I beg my friend Gabriella.
"Sure thing girl! Anything for you, and for Steven!" Gabriella said as she ran off to Steven.
"I'm back!" I said as I ran to Mike and have him a hug.
"So, Gabriella and Steven huh? Did that by any chance happen because of my girlfriend?" Mike joked.
"Maybe!" I said giggling.
