"Cat!" Ladybug rushed over to him as he fell to the ground. All of her fears suddenly left her as she held Cat Noir in her arms. "Cat, I'm so sorry. This is all my fault! Please come back to me!" She shouted to him as she tucked her head on his chest. Suddenly, she felt his hand on hers. "It's okay, m'lady. It's not your fault for your fear. Trauma is a real thing people experience every day. I just wish you had talked to me sooner. Or to someone else." Ladybug sighed in relief and smiled. "I'm just glad I'm over it now. I don't know what I would do without you." Ladybug suddenly felt something she hadn't felt before. As she tightened her grip on Cat's hand she unexpectedly leaned closer to him and pressed her lips against his. After they kissed, she backed away and said. "I love you." Ladybug was confused, but somehow certain that she now loved Cat Noir. The person she was once afraid of was now the person she needed most. He had completely healed her demons and made her happy again.
For the next couple months, Marinette continued to get help with her trauma. After that battle, she returned home and told her parents everything. Including her identity. Master Fu was upset at first, but understood that she needed too. Cat Noir also helped her through it. And soon, they revealed their identities and started dating. Of course, they didn't tell Master Fu this detail. But what he didn't know couldn't hurt him. Marinette and Adrien became happier than they ever had before. For they had the cure to all pain, and all terror. Love.
