Louis' POVI laid on the bed for a good half of the day, and as much as I didn't feel like doing anything, I knew that I had to keep myself sane and go out. Sitting in hotel rooms for the whole day can get really tiring if that's all you've been doing for the past 10 years.
Turning over on my side I stare out the big window that the sun welcomes itself through, I let out a long sigh before finally sitting up and stretching my back. Getting my phone I walk to the bathroom and quickly straighten out my shirt and and fix up my hair; not really caring too much of how I look, I throw on a hoodie and walk out the room.
I didn't think too much about people recognizing me because of how busy the streets are, no ones going to focus of my face. I leave the hotel building and step out into the breezy air, already I feel myself feel slightly better; however not long after I get a call, and of course, its from Simon, "Oh give me a break," I whisper to myself.
I answer the phone anyways, "Yes?"
"Louis, are you in your hotel?" He asks.
"No, I'm out for a walk, why?"
"I need to talk to you about your next interview, do you have some time right now?"
I let out a sigh, "Yeah, I guess, yeah . Lets talk," I reply, continuing to walk down the sidewalk.
There was some shuffling on the other end of the line, papers I assume, " Okay so we have an interview booked for you on Saturday, which is in two days so you've got a bit of a break and its with Ellen because the fans have really been wanting that recently,"
I nod, realising he cannot see, I reply, "Yeah, okay, is it just that or?"
"Let me finish. You won't be the only one as a guest on the show, since we are promoting the next season of the X Factor, we will have Harry perform a song,"
"Okay, sounds good, does he know yet or are you going to tell him?" I ask while crossing the street, head down and hand deep inside my pocket of my jumper.
"I called him just before informing you, now I've got other things to do, so if you've any questions, just email me," He says before hanging up.
I return my phone to my pocket before entering a small little bakery called Une Petite Boulangerie, simple, but effective. I walk inside the warm bakery and immediately get a welcoming hug from the fresh smell of pastries. A small smile forms on my lips as a middle aged woman comes to the front and smiles, "Good morning sir, how can I help you?" She tilts her hed slightly.
"Can I just get blueberry muffin please?" I ask as I approach the front closer, Looking through the glass that displays all the different flavours of muffins and cookies.
She nods and takes out a paper bag, "Anything else for today?"
I think for a moment, "and a white chocolate chip cookie please," I smile back at her, pointing at the perfectly round cookie.
She proceeds to place the muffin into the bag, along with the cookie shortly after.
After paying for my food I take a seat at a small table that's located in the corner of the shop, I set the bag down in front of me and take out my muffin.
Before I could finish my first bite, a group of girls walk in and begin to order, My heart slightly starts to race hoping they don't recognize me and drag attention. However almost the opposite happens.
"Oh my god, it's Louis!" One of them spoke up. Her friends tried to cover up their bright smiles, but clearly they were struggling to keep it together.
I smiled at them, "hello, it is me," I laughed.
"Can we get a hug?" The younger looking one asked, pulling on the bottom of her shirt nervously.
"'Course, come give me a cuddle," I stood up before giving each girl a nice warm hug, they held on pretty tightly, but I couldn't blame them entirely. "So how are you guys?"
"We're great now, we have school today but we decided not to go because it's her birthday so we wanted to go out for the day," the taller one explained, pointing to the youngest one.
"Oh well happy birthday to you," I said enthusiastically.
I talked to the girls for a few more minutes at my table, they talked about how they saw Harry on tour and One Direction 3 times. Then one of them asked,
"Okay so deny or confirm, is it true that you and Harry are both going to be judges on the X-Factor?" She smiled brightly with hope in her eyes.
I sat up in my seat and looked up up at the window as if in thought, "maybe, maybe," I teased with a quiet laugh.
The girls' faces all lit up, "okay! Well we won't bother you anymore. But thank you so much for talking to us!" The you get one said as she stood up from the seat.
I stood up to give each one of them another hug, "no, of course. It's always nice to talk to you guys," I smiled kindly at them as they walked off, sighing to myself as I thought about their question.
"So deny or confirm, is it true that you and Harry are both going to be judges on the X-Factor?"
I still didn't know exactly why Simon suddenly wanted us to be the two to judge on the X-Factor. He knew our history, he knew exactly what management did to us because of him. So it seems weird to me why all of a sudden he was okay with the idea, even after everything has already been damaged.
