Chapter 11

Eleanor??
Why is she calling me? We were publicly broken up with for a few months now. And don't get me wrong, we were still friends. Because as much as many fans assume she's a horrible person for being with me, she is the nicest person when you get to know her. 

"Sorry, I have to pick this up." I apologize to Harry before standing up and walking to the side to answer the phone.

"Hello?" I ask, still wondering why she is calling me during the afternoon. I am usually warned by my agent if Simon has decided to give me a public stunt.

"Hey, Louis. How are you?" She answers in her soft voice.

"I'm doing good, is everything okay?"

"Yeah, I'm just calling because I got an email from Simon's assistant that I might have to get ready for another stunt with you and get back together with you."

I stand there in silence for a little bit, not being able to form many words, except,

"But why?" 

It may have come out rude, but I was not intending on it. I am just genuinely confused as to why I have to publicly date Eleanor again.

"I'm not sure, I thought Simon only did this when there was other talk about you that might have quote on quote, ruined your image. But I haven't seen anything other the casual location update on you and Harry, and the whole X-Factor thing." She explains.

She's right, there isn't anything I or Harry could have done publicly that could have been noticed by Simon. But knowing the man, he always has something up his white sleeves.

I push my hair back and turn to look at Harry, giving him an apologetic smile, "So, you're saying you weren't told why, but we're going to have to be dating again? Because don't get me wrong Eleanor, but I don't think this would get the fans thinking our relationship is a healthy one if all we do is break up and get back together."

"No, I agree, Lou. I just," She takes a breath, "This gets tiring, the amount of hate I get from fans for no valid reason is really taking a toll on my health, and I have told Simon multiple of times that I do not want to do this anymore. But the man does not care what so ever."

I can tell she's worked up, I don't blame her.I've tried to tell fans to stop being rude to Eleanor because she was in fact my girlfriend and did not deserve any of the hate she got. But some just don't listen.

"Anyways, I will let you go. If I get any more information about this crap situation, then I will text you," She says in a tried voice.

"Okay, thank you El. Have a good one," I say before hanging up the phone and walking back over to Harry.

"Everything okay?" Harry asked, looking at me with kind and concerned eyes.

"Yeah, Eleanor just called telling me that apparently we're going to have to date publicly again. Wasn't told why though," I let out a deep breath, I didn't know I was holding.

"Oh," Is all Harry said.

I nod slowly.

We both know what this has been like in the past. The fans know. Everyone knows.

One thing is done, one word is spread and there you have it, I am told to date Eleanor so people get fed information and don't focus on other bits of our lives.

It's not fair at all. I can't have a decent conversation with Harry because Simon the Great always has to come in and make sure his sweet reputation doesn't get ruined. As if that would ever happen because of something so innocent.

"Don't worry Louis," A soft voice is heard.

I snap out of my thoughts and look up at Harry who is offering me a warm smile. I take it and smile back, "I know, I'm just worried about El. She doesn't take this stuff easily. She's been very strong these past few years but I feel like every time she is slowly breaking away." I sadly look down at my hands, "But maybe some of the fans have grown up and realize what they've been doing," I shrug.

Harry takes my hands in his.

Once again, a slightly shot of energy travels through my hands and up my arms. Causing me to look at him.

"Those are not fans, fans are the people that care about and love everyone. No matter what they have to do with you. Fans do not hate on anyone that support their idols. They respect them just as much as we would." He explains truthfully.
Harry's right. Fans don't do this.

And if they claim to be fans, they need to look at themselves and realize they are hurting more than just their own target.

Hope everyone has been doing well!! I appreciate all the support I have received recently and the messages. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. I know it's really short, but I wanted this chapter to just be a short little filler on what's going to be going on with Ms. Eleanor Calder.
