Nova POV:
I woke with the feeling of flesh beneath my fingers, not fur.
Immediately I scowled at the beast of a man Beneath me.
I told him it was dangerous to shift, and he does so anyways.
The nerve of him. He could very well have killed himself.
He was lucky he was not dead.
His heart was beating in his chest and he seemed to be nearly at peace.
So long as one ignored his arousal.
Wolves are such basic primitive creatures. I thought to myself as I checked over his wounds, satisfied they were fully healed.
How he could desire sex even in his sleep after such an ordeal was beyond my comprehension.
And yet here he was.
Here it was.
Stretching a bit again his body I made a move to leave his arms and go get some work done.
Only to be dragged back into the bed, "Noviana?" He rumbled.
"Nova." I corrected.
"I passed the third trial."
I held his gaze, my face a careful display of indifference, "you did."
He smiled up at me, sleep not entirely chased from his voice, "so you're mine then."
"Technically since you have passed the three trials yes, I will mother your children when the time comes." I stated simply, "you have successfully earned that right."
His gaze traveled my nearly nude form, "you saved me."
"I did."
"I thought you wanted my eyes for your skull and the rest of me for spells or some shit." He grinned crookedly at me, "at least thats what you always said."
"You passed the trials." I replied blandly. "Why are you aroused we are doing nothing sexual."
He chuckled, "side effect of the hunt, usually the adrenaline makes a wolf desire sex. I was simply too wounded to play."
"And it didn't go away?"
He snorted, "with your body pressed on mine when I was finally back in human form? No."
"wolves are such primal beings."
Sebastian laughed a bit, "you enjoy how primal I am when I'm on top of you with my cock where you like it most."
"Valid point." I said, ignoring his large erection, "are you sore?"
He frowned a bit, "a little. But not enough to keep my hands off-"
I pressed where one of his wounds was.
He growled.
