Geralt of Rivia had only one person who he would consider his friend, and it was the one person who knew everything about him. She had been there for him since the start, even when he was going through the trails to become a Witcher.

This girl was Aphrodite.

Something about her gave Geralt a sense of peace. Maybe it was because he had told her everything, and she had been with him at a time where she was most vulnerable.

She was there for him after he had survived the trails, and become who he was. Though, when Geralt had left to go live the way of a Witcher, Aphrodite was the one who had followed him. There was nothing that she would not do for him, and it was evident with the way that she had acted.

It was something that Geralt had always admired about her.

"Geralt," Aphrodite had spoken one day.

Today was a particularly rough day for The Witcher, and he did not want to talk to anyone at the moment. It was one of those days where the Witcher side of him came out.

It was the actions of being and acting boorish that was something that was a telltale sign that he was a Witcher. There was nothing else to it.

Usually, during these days, most people would have left him alone.

Aphrodite was not one of those people.

She had then reached to where he was and grasped his hand, she had then spoken,

"What is wrong Geralt?" She had asked.

Even though Geralt had hated it, all the walls and barriers that he had collapsed and he was left with just Aphrodite and his raw emotions.

Or, maybe it was because she was his first love.

Geralt of Rivia had fallen in love with the girl, not knowing when it happened, but when it had, it was a wake-up call from a fantasy.

Then, one day she was gone.

Without another word, she was gone. It was not as though she wanted to leave, she was taken. Though, at the time, Geralt did not have a complete understanding of his newfound abilities that were given to him.

Then, with the belief that she had left him out of her own free will, he had become heartless, and there was nothing else to it.
