The group had then begun to get their things ready so that they would be able to leave as soon as possible.
Jaskier only knew that Ciri's dreams had meant something, he did not know that the girl in those dreams was Geralt's first love and that his destiny was tied with hers.
The four people had continued their travels, Ciri and Geralt sitting on Roach together during this travel. The group did not know what to expect, I am this case they did not know where they were going in the first place.
They were following the path that destiny had left with them when suddenly Ciri had felt something.
It was the same feeling that she had before she had met Geralt. The strings of destiny were dragging her towards a specific location, and it was so compelling that she was not able to resist.
Ciri was at the mercy of destiny, and there was nothing that she or anyone else could do about it.
Geralt had stopped when he saw the state that Ciri was in, and when he had stopped, she had gotten off the horse and ran in a specific direction.
He had groaned in frustration, and with his horse chased after her. His other two companions had noticed the urgency on his face, and they ran with the horse.
Roach was faster than the two people, therefore Geralt was ahead of them. He had let Ciri continue to run and he was hoping that the direction which she was running towards would hopefully lead to the location of his first love.
Eventually, Ciri had stopped. It was the cottage from her dream. This was where the other person from her destiny had resided.
At that moment, Ciri had hesitated. She did not know this woman, and the woman might not know about her at all. The only thing that Ciri had known about her was from her dreams, and all of her dreams were filled with pain and torture.
That was the past of the woman who had lived in the small cottage, and Ciri did not know what kind of woman this person had become after enduring all that she had.
Would this woman be like her grandmother?
Is that why she was a part of her destiny?
All of these questions had circled around Ciri's head as Geralt had caught up with her. He had seen the cottage, and he had then known that this was Aphrodite's home.
The cottage was what he had pictured Aphrodite's home to look like if she had not hung around Gerlad anymore. He was expecting the woman to be shy and gentle like she was when she was with him last time.
What he did not expect was to see the woman throw a man out of her home and say,
"Get out!" Aphrodite shouted in anger.
She had remained the same after what she has gone through, but this man had made her particularly upset.
He kept flirting with her, and she would not stand for someone who disrespected her and her work.
She then saw the group of four travelers and said with a smile,
"Good day, do you need something?"
