Everything was going great, the second semester had just started, you finaly got rid of those annoying children in the house to your right, as the left side was woods.
"Mom, I am going to get the mail I'll be right back," You call to her as you walk out to the mail box.
You looked at the house next door as you did every day since that family left two weeks ago with their two annoying children. Expecting it to be empty as always you got a bit of a surprise when you looked and saw a moving truck in the driveway.
"What the?" you questioned yourself as you turned to head back to the house.
"Mom do you know anything about people moving in next door?" You asked her.
"Uhm the last thing I heard is that there was going to be a boy about your age moving in, i don't know if he is with friends or family or what but i just hope he isn't some kind of trouble maker." She replied like she was bored.
But your mom was one of those people. Yes THOSE people that like to take a plate of cookies over to the new neighbors, but this time instead of doing it herself...
She said, "Danny honey will you do me a favor and take theses cookies over to the neighbors?"
"I guess," you said rolling your eyes, "why do you do this again?"
"Because is feels good to be nice to people, in real life. Maybe if you took your nose out of those vampire books and off of the internet and try to be nice or even interact with real people, who knows maybe you'll make a friend."
"Okay first of all Mom, They are Werewolf books NOT Vampire books. Second of all people on the internet are real people they just live far away. Plus i have lots of friends,"
"Oh yeah name one, their real name, not their username on that site you are always using"
"Uhm i talk to Becca and Kaitlyn at school." "Okay I'll give you that now please take this over to them."
You grabbed the plate of cookies and walked outside.
