Chapter 3: The Wait

You walk in the door with a smile on your face and a warm feeling in your heart. Your mom looks at you in disbelief."Danny honey, are you okay?"

"Huh? waht? Oh yeah, I'm fine, and thanks by the way for making me go next door to the new neighbor's," you said smiling at her walking towards your room. hmmm should I call him in the morning and try to set up a hangout? Should I wait for him to call me? Oh who am I kidding why would a guy like him call a girl like me? Ugh I am so stupid I should never have given him the number.

Meanwhile...

 Ashton picked up his phone and set it back down over and over again. should I call her now? Should I wait till tomorrow? Should I wait for her to call me? Should i just go over there? Should I wait till tommorrow to go over there? I know I'll call mum she'll know what to do, plus the guys will be here tommorrow....

He picked up his phone and called his mom, "Hi honey how's Kentucky?" she said.

"It's great I've already met someone, she's super nice, and super cute...and she's kinda the reason I called."

"Ashton are you calling me for girl advice? You just got there this morning there is no way you have already fully moved in and had time to go out and meet girls?!?!?!" she said in disbelief.

"Easy mum, i've not gone anywhere, she's my neighbor...she came over and brought a plate of cookies to welcome me nto the neighborhood. She's kinda shy but I like it. What I was calling for was to ask what I should do, I kinda told her she didn't have to be shy round me and that we should hang out sometime." he said shrugging.

"And..." Anne said.

"Well then I gave her my number, told her to call me if she wanted to hang out, or to come over...and she gave me her number too and told me to call, or come over too. I don't know if i should call her now, or if that would sound too desperate, if i should wait till tommorrow, or if i should go over there? If I should wait for her to call or come over, I don't know what to do i've never felt like this...Moooooom can you please help?!?" he said whining a little at the end.

"Ashton honey all I can say is why don't you text her, start a conversation and see where it goes. Oh and by the way i was told i had to give Lauren credit for that one that's what she told me to tell you, and Harry said Hi and he misses you." She replied, the fact she was rolling her eyes clear in her voice.

"Well tell Lauren I said thank you, and tell Harry I said I miss him too, and I love you all,and I will talk to you later, I love you." He said laughing a little.

"We love you too Ash and we'll talk to you later bye-bye."

"Bye-bye," He said hanging his phone up. H then clicks 'New Message' and begins typing...

Hi Danny it's me Ashton, and I was just wondering if you maybe wanted to hang out, I'm kind of bored over here. :)  Your phone read, and it made your heart jump a little as you had decided to wait for him to call you. You text him back trying not to sound too excited but thinking you did anyway.

Hey Ash, Its me Danny, hope you don't mind that I call you Ash...But I'd love to hang out let me just check with mom and I'll let you know <3 Danny. He read it aloud giggling at you for worrying, and loving your text signature.

"Hey Mom can I go hang out with my new friend? We aren't going to get into any trouble or anything, Please?" You call from the hallway.

"Sure, just be home by 10 okay?" She asked watching you grab your jacket off of the couch. "Sure thing, Thanks Mom Love you see you later." You said as you walk out the door texting Ash as you go.

Hey Ash, she said yes so i'm on my way over be there in a sec. <3 Danny.

He ran to the bathroom and fixed his hair, straightened his shirt, made sure there was nothing in his teeth, and headed for the door. He opened the door just as you were about to knock the second time.
