Chapter 5

The king had always been a strict man, bit when he was young his father still took some time to play with his son and made him feel loved. His mother died shortly after she gave birth to Felicia, so his father was the only parent he had left. Lovino always loved his father and respected him greatly as the leader of such an enormous and influential country.
Due to that, the young prince had great difficulties dealing with the current situation.
His father, the king, the man he had looked up to since many many years, had let him down. He didn't approve of his son's love, didn't support him like he would have expected him to.
Without Antonio by his side Lovino would have broke down, he felt that. Right now the musician had become the only person he could trust besides his sister that had supported him like family should.
How was Lovino supposed to live on knowing that his own father had betrayed him like this?
His lover was worried sick besides him, seeing all those tears streaming down the prince's cute face filled with sadness and hurt.

"Please, don't cry, mi amor..." Antonio mumbled and wrapped his arms around the young Prince. "I know, this must be very hard for you-" he got cut off. "How could-a you know what-a that feel like? Huh?!-" this time Lovion got cut off. "I KNOW, what you must feel like because it has happened to me as well!" Antonio exclaimed, his brows furrowed. Lovino then suddenly realised that he knew nothing about his Spanish lover's past. He looked at him with curious, still slightly teary, eyes and waited for the Spaniard to continue. Antonio sighed heavily. "I... I dont think this is the right time to talk about my past, amor." He said and looked away, clearly not keen on the topic of his past.

Back to the young princess

Felicia was very relieved that no one had found and brought back the prince. Yet. She cared deeply for her beloved brother and wished him happiness, but she knew her father too well to believe in a happy ending for the couple.
She knew, her father was a strict father and even stricter king, he would do everything to get Lovino back to the castle. The action with the lie about Antonio kidnapping the prince showed that attitude.
Felicia thought about the things she could do to help her brother get away without the king putting too much effort into searching.
Maybe she could talk to the king about cancelling the marriage...? But wouldn't that be too risky for her?

The young Princess was pacing up and down in her  chamber, silently arguing with herself about what to do. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Felicia stopped in her tracks and looked at the door. "Enter." She said, and the door opened. It was...
