(This chapter has ALOT of information about phycology and if you want to read about it, a lot of it is in this chapter. So, all of the information about psychology has been fact checked and from trusted sources, not from memory.)
Kirishima's P.O.V

It was finally Monday. Nobody ever said that except for me but I was glad to be back on schedule. I woke up a little earlier so I could stop by the cafe on the campus. It wasn't a far drive so I gave myself an extra thirty minutes. Brushing my teeth and styling my hair down, I walked to my dresser and tossed some clothes on my bed. Dressing in comfortable grey sweatpants and a red jacket with a black shirt underneath, I grabbed my bag and a few extra books and I was off. Texting Mina before I rode away, I asked of she wanted a bagel and coffee which she replied with a simple 'yes please!'. The ride was a quiet one, the windows rolled down so the wind was blowing around me. It was relaxing none the less and made for a perfect start for the day. Parking in the campus lot, I grabbed my bag and pulled my wallet out, going to the little to-go breakfast area and ordered two cream cheese bagels and two black coffees. Paying and receiving the order quickly, I walked to the classroom where I would spend the next four and a half hours. I really enjoyed psychology and Mina did too. We were so happy when our acceptance letters came in the mail near the same time. Hers came a few days after mine so we were both nervous wrecks but when we found out we were both going to the same college, we were ecstatic.

Turning on the light in class, I got my desk ready. I was used to being one of the first ones in here but sometimes a few students would already be up and ready for the day. Setting down our food, I grabbed my books and notes, pulling my phone out as well.

Kirishima🏳️‍🌈: Where are you?

Mina🌺: walked with Sero to his Graphic Designing classes, across campus. See you in 5?

Kirishima🏳️‍🌈: I'll be here with coffee and bagels! :)

And just as she said, five minutes later, she came in with her bag flung on one shoulder. She crashed in her seat next to mine, smiling slightly before looking at the coffee and bagel in front of her. "I swear your an angel sometimes. God I love you." She smiled, grabbing the bagel and biting down, the cream spreading around her face and cheeks. "Well, I assume you weren't ready for today." I giggled, grabbing my coffee and sipping on it. The professor wasn't here yet but he was chill and allowed eating in class. As long as you did what was told, he really had no problems with you. "I forgot it was Monday. I stayed up almost all night so I didn't exactly wake up on time. How are you doing? I know these last few days have been difficult." She gave me a sympathetic smile while taking a sip of her coffee. I hadn't kept her up to date so she probably felt bad about bothering me with her problems.

"I'm giving him a second chance." I said nonchalantly, biting out of my bagel. She choked up on her coffee, staring at me for a second with wide eyes. "What? It's not that big of a deal. Plus, you gave Sero a second chance." She sighed, taking a second to process what I said. "I don't want you getting hurt. You were right; in the grand scheme of things, he didn't hurt me he was just with Bakugou when shit went down. But he hurt you in ways unimaginable. I just don't want you getting hurt again." I finished my food, tossing the trash in the bin by the door. We were already close to the door so I didn't even really get up. "I'll be okay Mina. I know what I'm doing. Plus, I made a plan. We aren't dating. We aren't even close. He has one week to prove to me himself that he can be someone I love. He has to make me fall for him. And he only has until the end of this week to do it. I'll explain everything later." She seemed on board with my plan, nodding and smiling before the professed came in and started the day.

He stood by the board greeting the class before telling us to pull out our notebooks and take notes down while he explained a wrote them on the board. I followed along, writing quickly taking done what he said. Some kids complained that he spoke too quickly but he always told them to write faster. I was always one of the fast writers so I never complained. "Psychology is about understanding the human mind and human behavior as well as skills to interpret research finding corresponding to and concerning human behavior. Not only do you understand people you know and love on a more personal level but it also helps you find yourself. We've learned about cognitive and developmental phycology and today we will start talking about personality. Now, when you think of personality, what do you think of, Sato go." The teacher called on random people and they had to answer the question. It was basically a game of popcorn around the classroom which scared some students because of their introverted selves and some loved it. "The combination of characteristics or qualities that for an individuals distinctive character." He answered, writing it down in his notebook as he spoke. "Very good. Give me examples of good qualities you would want in someone's personality, Mina." She was always caught off guard when the teacher called on her but answered none the less. "Optimism, honesty, confidence, loyalty, courage, and kindness to name a few." She proudly stated, earning a small nod from the teacher while he wrote them on the board in a T chart. "Good. Now, Jirou, give me examples of bad personality traits." She stood up from the back so she could be heard. "Being closed minded, lacking empathy, chronic sarcasm, impatience, disrespectful, and greedy." He nodded again, writing them on the board.

"These are the basic traits you would find in people in the world. Some people have positive personalities, some are negative, some have a mixture of both. Now, what if someone has personality disorder? Does anyone know the definition of that?" I raised my hand and he called on me. "A personality disorder is a type of mental disorder in which a person has a rigid and unhealthy pattern of thinking, functioning, and behaving. A person with a personality disorder has trouble perceiving and relating to situations and people. There are nine specific types of personality disorders as well including paranoid, schizoid, antisocial, borderline, histrionic, narcissistic, avoidant, dependent and obsessive compulsive personality disorder." He wrote down the information as I spoke it aloud and the other students did too.

"Great job. Now, these ten types of personality disorders. I'll write down the traits of each disorder as we go along. Number one: Paranoid personality disorder. People with this disorder suffer from pervasive distrust and suspicion of others and their motives. Unjustified belief that others are trying to harm or deceive you. Unjustified suspicion of the loyalty or trustworthiness of others. Hesitancy to confide in others due to unreasonable fear that others will use the information against you. Perception of innocent remarks or non threatening situations as personal insults or attacks. Angry or hostile reaction to perceived slights or insults. Tendency to hold grudges. Unjustified recurrent suspicion that your spouse or sexual partner in unfaithful. Individuals affected by paranoid personality disorder have a general suspicion that everyone is out to mistreat them. The condition usually does not extend into full-on psychosis such as schizophrenia. Next is schizoid personality disorder. This condition tends to cause patients to avoid social interaction and be indifferent to social cues. The disorder extends far beyond introversion; introverts occasionally enjoy socializing. Third is antisocial personality disorder. People with antisocial personality disorder have a disregard for the rights and feelings of others, often preforming criminal acts for personal gain. Fourth; borderline personality disorder. This disorder causes patients to have unstable emotions and mood swings. Unlike bipolar disorder, this doesn't usually occur in cycles. Fifth is histrionic personality disorder. This condition is characterized by acting in an overly dramatic or emotional way, usually as a bid to draw attention. Sixth; narcissistic personality disorder. Named for the figure from Greek mythology, narcissistic personality disorder causes patients to have an inflated view of themselves. They believe they are more important than anyone else, often at the expense of others. Seven. Avoidant personality disorder. People with avoidant personality disorder are often extremely shy and harbor feelings of inadequacy. They are very hesitant to confront others about their problems or to express their feelings. Number eight; dependent personality disorder. People who have dependent personality disorder have difficulty functioning without the aid or encouragement of others. Last is obsessive-compulsive personality disorder. This condition is characterized primarily by a compulsion to engage in repetitive behaviors and thought patterns."

"Now, what exactly causes a personality disorder?" Nobody raised their hand and I hadn't gotten that far into my textbook to know the answer either so he answered for the class. "Personality disorders are caused by a mixture of genetic factors, such as family history or disorders and upbringings. People who had or have a dysfunctional home life in early childhood and adolescence can develop personality disorders in later life. For example, a lack of constructive criticism or excessive praise could foster narcissistic personality disorder. It takes knowledge of a person's background and family history to pinpoint what causes a personality disorder, and it is not exact science. Now, that's all the time we have today. Tomorrow we will talk about the signs of a personality disorder as well as going over notes. You have a test in two weeks."

With all of the traits, types, notes, and extra comments of my own written down, I closed my notebook and packed up my books getting ready to leave class. Mina didn't have night classes like I did so she had nothing left today. "For those in the night class, we'll go over these notes with the others who weren't able to have morning classes. See you all tomorrow." He sighed, sitting down at his desk. Mina and I left the classroom together. "Do you wanna go to get lunch together?"

"Yeah. I'll update you about Bakugou there."
