Bakugou's P.O.V

Things are getting better. After getting back in night classes with Kirishima, he seemed to be in a better mood. I was a little surprised he had agreed to put all of what happened behind him and start over but I wasn't complaining. I wanted to fix things and if he was giving me that chance, I wasn't going to mess anything up. I would do just about everything for him. And that included doing things for his friends to. Well, his one friend who just so happened to hate me. Did I blame her? No. Do I want her to like me? Yes.

I woke up this morning with a good morning text from Kirishima and letting me know that night classes were, sadly, cancelled tonight and would start again tomorrow. Another text was from a number I didn't have in my contacts. Reading his text, I smiled and texted him back a small good morning and 'Aw man' before going to the other number.

Unknown: hey it's Mina. I'm Kirishima's friend, I'm sure you know.

Bakugou: what do you want pink face?

Mina: I would be careful who you're talking to. In case you forgot, I've been Kiri's friend since middle school.

Bakugou: what do you have against me. I know I've screwed up. Big time. And I know it's impossible to make up for. You don't have to tell me that. Just let me prove to you I'm actually a good guy.

Mina: I guess you can prove it to me as well. You've already seemed to pull Kirishima off his feet. But I just can't quite forgive you yet. I just don't want to see him hurt.

Bakugou: I know that. I'm going to try harder. I don't deserve him. He's the light in the darkness.

Mina: he really is. So, how are you planning on proving this to me.

Bakugou: how about a double date? My treat. You can see that I can be a good person to him and you can have a fun time with Sero. Sound okay?

Mina: sure. Where and when?

Bakugou: well, night classes are cancelled and I have a huge backyard. My house. Seven o clock. Picnic and movie under the stars. Sound okay?

Mina: I may not like you but jeez are you romantic.

Bakugou: just the best for my boy and his friend. Plus, in case you forgot, I'm Sero's best friend since middle school.

Mina: you don't get to play that card with me :p see you at seven.

Bakugou's I'll prove it. Just watch me.

With that confirmation, I texted Kiri the news and he seemed to be on board and said he would be there. Closing my iPhone, I jumped out of bed and started the day. I had a lot to set up so I pulled on a pair of sweatpants and a black tank top before I made my way down the stairs and outside. We had a huge backyard and when I was little, we also had movie nights frequently too. I started cleaning up the yard, raking up the leaves and making it look presentable. Setting up the projector screen, it was hung between the trees and the projector was set up in the middle of the yard. Before I did anything else, I went back inside, and grabbed my keys heading out for food and a few other preparation things. I grabbed popcorn, boxed candy like you would find a the movies, other snack foods and fairy lights to hang in the trees. I left the store around four, spending a little too much time looking around. Getting back to the house, I rushed to put everything up, the lights hanging from the trees, the blankets set up on either side of the projector and the snacks and candy laid our around us. It looked like it was pulled from a movie. Finishing the set up, I decided to freshen up a bit, showering and fixing myself up and making myself more presentable. The sun was starting to set when seven rolled around and the sound of two cars pulling into the driveway pulled me out of my room and to the front door.

Opening the door, I was met first with Mina and Sero. They both looked happy, their arms latched between them. "You can make your way to the backyard." I gestured with a, small, smile. She nodded and followed him out the sliding glass doors. Looking back to the door, he stood there, waiting to be greeted. With a smile, I gestured inside which he followed. "So." He started, drumming his fingers together. "It's not a date. Just wanted to do something nice for the both of you. You deserve this." He smiled again, grabbing my arm and dragging me with him to the backyard. "Well, you guys seem comfortable." I said, breaking the from their love daze with each other. They both snapped back at us and smiled. Everyone seemed happy. "Well, what movie are we watching?" Mina asked, crossing her arms and grabbing a box of nerds from the stash of candy. "Whatever sounds good to you guys." I said, grabbing the laptop from the area near the projector. "Alice in Wonderland?" Kiri asked, taking a spot on the blankets laid out on the grass.

"Sounds good to me." I shrugged looking at the couple across from me. They both nodded, leaning into each other and staring at the screen which was now loading the movie. The sun had set and the stars were starting to pop into the sky one by one. The movie started and the sky got darker as time went on. We were about halfway through when Sero left and came back with a bottle of wine. "Where did you get that?" I asked, watching as he went back and came back with four glasses. "From the top cabinet. It's just wine it's okay." He said, pouring a glass for all of us. "I'm good." I said, trying to go back to the movie. "Okay, just some for us I guess." Mina said, grabbing a glass from his hands. He handed one to Kiri, who surprisingly took it. "Just one glass." He mumbled, sipping on the deep red juice. But that one glass turned to about six and he still seemed fine. "Are you sure you're okay?" I asked. The night was getting later and he seemed okay. "Yup. I have a clear mind and I'm not stumbling or slurring my words. It's just wine it's okay." He reassured. The next movie was playing but we weren't even watching it anymore. We were all talking, just having a good time other each other's presence. But soon it was time for them to go home. My phone was dead, I was getting tired, everyone seemed happy and Mina started to like me a little more. The night ended well. Saying my goodbyes to everyone, they all left after a while of talking inside because it was getting cold towards the end of the night. Plugging up my phone, I powered it on and sat it beside my bed on the charger, falling into bed and falling into a sleep.

Then, a phone ringing ripped through my room and woke me up.
