The three main royals stand in front of the palace ground, awaiting the presence of a familiar-looking yellow carriage. The King stands in the middle with his Guardian on his right, his wife by his left, followed by Sunny on the Queen's left. The Queen's Guardian is still in her sparrow form, quietly perched on the Queen's shoulder. Me, on the other hand, is content in Sunny's arms since I'm still a cat.

Once the younger Warrior Princess - as dubbed by the people of Earth Kingdom - arrives, I can see the resemblance between Sunny and her sister. They may look similar, but I can definitely tell that they have very different personalities.

Princess Luna Van Der Werstein comes out of the carriage surrounded by fewer Gueses Royal Guards than we had yesterday. The Warrior Princess dresses as her nickname presents; an armour with a sword by her hips. The two sisters share the same blonde hair and light green eyes just as their mother since their father possess light brown hair and eyes.

The women of the family could have been mistaken as triplets since the Queen looks youthful in her early forties. Seeing the three of them together make me feel like I should have at least suspected the Queen's closer relations to her best friend when I met her all those years ago.

The King may have some grey hair to show his true age, but his built body is maintained over the years to show their people that he has the brains, the looks and the muscles. Anyone who intends to challenge the King would have thought twice just by looking at the King. Among the two sisters, the younger sister looks more like her father as she is bulkier, bigger than her sister and has some scars on her arms which she proudly exposes.

Sunny seems to always have some sort of royal aura that demands respect on her whenever she's not alone with me, but her sister screams dominance and fearlessness. It doesn't help that the Warrior Princess shows no emotions towards the people just outside the gates who cheer on her arrival like a long-lost celebrity reappearing for a sequel.

"Father, mother," the Warrior Princess greets respectfully, curtsying. Then she turns to her older sister with a hint of surprise at my presence. "Sister."

The Queen throws her arms around her youngest child. "Welcome home, baby. I'm sorry we had to drag you home halfway through your semester..."

Luna cracks a smile at her mother. "I understand, mum."

Like a routine, the complete family heads to the dining hall where lunch is being served. The parents catches up with their youngest child's life while their eldest contently listen to the conversation. Princess Luna talks animatedly about her upcoming duel at the academy she's attending which is worth 20% of her final grade for this academic year. I find it intriguing to learn how different the education system is from back home.

I watch Sunny's expressions when her sister talks about her school. I remember that the last time I could physically communicate with her, we were talking about graduation and her intentions to go into politics. I wonder if she misses going to school and wish to finish schooling properly.

"So I see that you finally chose a Guardian, sister," Luna says to her sister.

Sunny nods awkwardly without a response. I can definitely sense how nervous my best friend is feeling since she's circling her finger on my fur. She hasn't seen her sister for almost eight years now, and clearly there is a disconnection between the two sisters.

"We can talk later."

During lunch, the King informs the two princesses that he and his wife will have to visit the Oppenheim League headquarters on updates tomorrow. Sunny will be in charge of the palace for the next few days, taking over royal duties temporarily. It is almost an unspoken rule that the updates that he was relating to are the attempted assassinations and Sunny's future protection. No one could understand why are they targeting Sunny, of all people. Other royal families from other parts of Oppenheim, as far as we are aware, had received no such threat. The King seems convinced that it is connected to Sunny's previous abduction experience.
