"Excuse me?" Was her response as I sat back into my seat. "You heard me. I'm gonna make you mine." I ate a few more bites of my food before asking for the check. The food was good. I just wasn't in the mood to eat it.
"I will never be yours Miss Ruby Rose." She stood up from her seat throwing down a wad of money so that she could leave. "Your paying? How sweet. I'll have to pay you back some how." She scoffed at me storming off. God she looks delicious when she's pissed. I got up and followed after her the best I could in the heels.
It took a bit but I finally caught up to her. Look at me. Chasing a girl. This is pathetic. I couldn't help it though. No girl has caught my attention like she did. So cold, yet warm at the same time. I placed my hand on her shoulder. "Ice Queen wait up." She back hand slapped mine off of her shoulder. "Don't touch me or call me that!" She snapped. I felt myself swoon on the inside. What is it about this icy girl that sets me off?
"Easy. Be happy I changed my mind about killing you." She got furious at me. "I'd prefer if you did that. It gives me a reason to beat the hell out of you." She sped up her walking trying to get away. But, I wasn't gonna give up that easily. "Lighten up. No need to be a stiff." She turned and opened her mouth ready to snap back when my phone went off. I checked to see who called. Yang. My lovely energetic sister. She recently met a faunus that made her heart melt so she calls me every now and then to give me updates on whats going on.
"I gotta take this. Looks like I'm forced to let you go tonight." She rolled her eyes and left me by myself. No good bye? No see you later? Yeesh. I answered the phone. "Hey sis."
"I see you Ruby." Was her response. "Looks like you need help." I was a little taken aback. Before I could respond she jumped off a building landing next to me. I hung up my phone looking at her. "How long were you watching?" She smiled wrapping her arm around me giving me a side hug. "Long enough to see you need big sis to give love lessons." I couldn't help but roll my eyes at what she just said. "Right. Because, you can get a girl just like that." I said sarcastically. "Hey now. Its a slow process with Blake. Now I have an idea." I had to satisfy her somehow so I bit the hook. "What is this big idea of yours?" She smiled. "Just let ol' Yang talk to her. Tomorrow go to the park. Noon. Blake will be there. I'll guide Miss Heart of Ice there."
I threw my head back and sighed. "It won't work Yang." She gave a hard pat on my back. "Trust me. I know how to talk to her type." With that she ran to her bike that was parked on the corner and took off. What the hell just happened?
