It was snowing lightly. The snow was deep. Only my foot prints covered the ground. "I see you arrived. On time too. Nothing less from the wielder of Crescent Rose. "My gaze shifted to the figure standing in the center of the clearing. I stayed silent making my way towards the figure.
"Right. Down to business. You were the one we thought who is more efficient to do this task." He pulled out a folder handing it to her. "Here is your target. Make the assassins proud." With that he disappeared. I opened the folder gazing at the picture of my target.
She's beautiful. Who could want her disposed of? Closing the folder I turned to look at the moon. Tomorrow I set out on my mission.
I woke up early the next morning and went to the cafe my target went to when she got her coffee. I sat in the booth listening to the bell ringing with every customer that went in and out of the cafe. Finally my eyes caught the white long hair I been searching for. I watched her looking around trying to find some place to sit. The cafe was full. I spoke up. "You can sit here if you'd like." She turned her attention to where the voice came from seeing me gesturing to a open seat.
I couldn't help but notice the way she walked was full of grace. "Thank you." She murmured taking the seat. "Anytime." I gave a fake smile. "I'm Ruby by the way. Ruby Rose." She looked at me and nodded her condolences. "Weiss Schnee."
We talked for a while before she excused herself to leave. "Hey! Wait!" She turned her attention to me once again. "How about I buy you dinner tonight? It's the least I can do." Since I'll be offing you soon enough. She hesitated for an answer before nodding. "I have wanted to try the new restraunt that opened up." I gave another fake smile. "I'll see you there at 6:30 then?" She gave another nod before taking her leave.
Such a shame to get rid of you. But, a job is a job. I finished my business at the cafe and followed her around town until the designated time. I should investigate more on why they want her to be killed. After all I don't have a deadline.
