I went to the park just like my sister said. She told me Blake always wore a bow on her head to hide her ears. I spotted her quickly. She was sitting on a bench reading a book. I walked up to the bench. "Blake?"
She looked at me with a Blank expression. "You must be Yang's sister." She moved over to make room for me. I took a seat next to her. The silence was awkward. Very awkward. I looked around before breaking the silence. "So..." I started.
"If your gonna ask if I'm into your sister, I'm not gonna answer that. If I am I'll tell her myself."
"Not at all. I was wondering if you knew what was going on." I said trying not to seem flustered.
"All I know is she told me to meet you here and said that you and another girl was coming this morning." My eyes widened in shock a bit. She actually persuaded Ice Queen to come? Before I could ask a voice came from next to me.
"You!" I turned my head quickly to see Weiss. "Hey there Princess." I smiled getting up to greet her. She took a step back. I think I saw a light blush but it disappeared as quickly as it showed up. "I told you she'd come!" Another voice said along with a hard pat on my back making me lurch forward a bit almost bumping into Weiss.
I turned my head to her. "How did-"
"Uhp uhp uhp." She put a finger to her lips closing one eye smiling. "That's my secret." I blinked a few times. "Wait a minute. You knew she was gonna be here?! You tricked me!" Weiss stomped her foot glaring at Yang.
Yang threw her hands up still smiling. "I just wanted my sister to not be alone. I mean who wants to be a third wheel?" Blake shut her book putting it away as she too got up. "Listen. Since we're all here we might as well get something to eat." Just the mentioning of food made all of us hungry.
We all nodded in agreement even Weiss. "So what shall we eat?" Yang looked at the group. "I'm fine with whatever." Blake replied. "As am I." I spoke up. "Well I want tacos." Yang said putting her hands behind her head. "As long as they serve salad I'll come along." Weiss put in.
They all looked at each other and went to the only taco place that served salad. Yang and Blake walked ahead of the group talking. Leaving me and Weiss in the back. "So Weiss... About last night."
"Can we not talk about that? Your making my blood boil bringing it up." She snapped at the youngest female in the group. "But, I wanted to apologize." Weiss ended up looking really annoyed. "Listen Rose. Me and you. Will never happen. Not in any lifetime."
I was hurt but hid it and instead gave a smile. "So you say." She'll like me soon enough. I hope... As we arrived at the taco place Yang held the door open for them. They walked in looking around. "It's full. Only a few two seaters." Blake spoke. "Looks like we have to pair up."
Yang took her place at Blake's side. "I'll sit with Blake. While Ruby and Weiss sit together at patch things up."
Weiss opened her mouth to object but before she could Blake and me had already agreed. Majority rules. The group of four split into two going to opposite sides of the restraunt. Weiss took the seat by the door in case she had to make another run for it. We ordered our food and sat there. Weiss staring hard at me probably wondering what idiotic thing I was gonna say next. I sat there with my head down a bit.
"Listen Weiss..."
"Let me stop you right there. Ruby. What in the world were you thinking last night? We had just met and you practically confessed to me!" I looked directly at her. "Actually Weiss... We met a long time ago..." Weiss sat there looking confused. "We went to the same Academy. You lived a few dorms down from me."
"I think I would remember you if we did." She replied. I sat in silence remembering a couple nights ago.
