Monday I lost my 6mo puppy
His name was Red Pure blood pit
He was the sweetest and most playful puppy. He survived strangles with his twin only to die of Parvovirus a few months later.

Friday night he started to get lethargic and throw up. We believed it was from his tug of war ball with string that made him sick since there was pieces in there.

Saturday came and he was throwing up more and more. His throw up was yellow and he had diarrhea when he did use the bathroom. Now not eating or drinking. Still figured he was sick from the toy.

Sunday came and he was getting worse had a fever and just wanted to be held not playful biting or being goofy. Made a vet appointment for the following day since we were starting to get worried.

Monday came..
He knew he was dying the other three dogs did too so they kept his distance since it started. Rex just wanted to be outside, on his own in the cold. Bringing him in he was wrapped up. Dad came picked up the poor sick black puppy who was nearly concious. Him and my twin took him to the vet.

Before they even reached the end of the 2 Mile road to get on the main one to drive another three to the vet Rex threw up on the young adult boy that was carrying him so scared this dog wouldn't make it. Whining and shivering after he threw up he took his last breath.

"Rex...?" My Twin asked scared sing the dog close his eyes and stop moving seeing him not breathe.

My father went faster hurrying to get the dog to the vet to see if we could save this poor baby dog.

By the time they got to the vet it was to late. There was nothing they could do. Not knowing what it was still they took some blood running a test seeing he had Parvo and now our yard and house was contaminated needing to be cleaned with bleach.

The other three are at risk since Parvovirus is am extremely contagious disease that takes two days to killed.

Took his twin sister to the vet the next day.

Good news!

She tested negative!

Bad news!

Next day she threw up for sick and lathergic. Took her to the vet now she's being treated for having it.

70% survival rate for her.

Already doing better more energetic and playful this morning.

Still not drinking or eating.

Slowly she's getting better.

Praying we won't loose two best friends.
