Hello dear readers,

It's been so much fun watching this story of mine grow and find new readers. Who knew when I first started writing this story so many moons ago it would find a home on Wattpad. I'm so glad I decided to share it with all of you. Despite its flaws, It's exactly the kind of story I intended to tell. It's been a while since I've updated this space, so I thought it would be fun to share a few songs from the playlist and tell you why I like them. Some of you might've heard these songs before.

Hozier - From Eden

From Eden by Hozier totally reminds of Ivy's relationship with Phillip, the chaos of it, the melancholia of it. I just love Hozier's voice. It's so haunting.

Bon Iver - Skinny Love

I suspect a lot of you will know quiet a few songs on this list because they're so old. Skinny love again reminds me of a tragic romance. I'm not saying it's what the song's about, but when I listen to this song I think of Phillip, Ivy, and Margaret in the meadow--Phillip begging Ivy to trust him, though she has ever reason not to.

Ben Howard - Old Pine

I love Ben Howard's music. Do you? Old Pine reminds me of Ivy and Margaret traversing the woods together, lost but having each other. Especially when he says, "careless and young, free as the birds that fly." I love that.

Gregory Alan Isakov - Suitcase Full of Sparks

This song definitely reminds me of Phillip, his desperation to find someone to love who will love him back. Gregory Alan Isakov is one of my all time favorite artists. He's so talented.

Vance Joy - Mess is Mine

This song reminds me of the trio again, in the cabin on an average day when there's nothing to do but spend time together. It is a messy kind of love, especially when it comes to loving a boy like Phillip. You guys know why. His hair is full of secrets. ;)

So what do you think of these songs? If you know of any other songs that remind you of the story, tell me so I can listen to them and possibly add them to the playlist
