I could hear a faint beeping noise. Am I in the goddamn hospital again?!

I tried to move, but it didn't work. I couldn't even open my eyes. Then it all came back to me. I saved her. I saved my sister.

I mentally sighed in relief.  Good. She's safe.

I then heard three sets of footsteps approaching.

"Is she okay?! Please tell me my sweet Ella is okay!"

Charlie. I would smile if I could. I still can't move. Why can't I fucking move?

"Sheriff Swan she's okay. She just hurt her arm and hit her head pretty hard. She has a slight concussion, but other than that she's fine. She'll wake up shortly." That's Carlisle.

What was that about my arm? I thought I healed that, but I guess I spent most of my power healing Bella.

Wait. If one set of footsteps is Charlie and the other is Carlisle, then who's the third person here.

I almost cried at the feeling of blood starting to go through my fingers. I twitch them.

"She's starting to wake up." Charlie tells Carlisle and the other person here.

Suddenly, I feel a calloused, warm hand grasp mine. It's not Charlie's, it's too rough to be. It's not Carlisle either, because it's too warm.

Who is this?

Well whoever it is, their hand makes me calm.

My other hand started twitching. Yes! Come on me, wake up!

I listen in for a minute, but it's silent. All I hear is my heart beating. The steady beating pounding in my ears.

I slightly tense my arms. Then next was my legs. Then my stomach.

I then felt a warm breath by my ear and the person's scent wafted through my nose. The smell of leather and rain. The combination made my heart beat faster.

Then the person spoke. "Come on Ari. I know you can hear me. We're all waiting for you."

My eyes popped open and I gasped.

"Ari! Charlie go get Dr. Cullen!" I think Charlie nodded before leaving the room, but I don't know. I couldn't remove my eyes off those beautiful brown ones.

Those brown eyes that I haven't seen in weeks.

The brown eyes that made my heart hurt and my head spin. The ones I would do anything for.

"Jake." I breathed out in disbelief. He chuckled. "Hey, you idiot. You suddenly stop talking to me for a few weeks and then immediately get your ass handed to you by your sister and a window."

I smile with tears in my eyes. If only he knew that I was through the most traumatic situation in my life, then he wouldn't be laughing.

Hearing his laugh and seeing his brown, kind eyes only made me realize how much I missed him.

I pulled him into a quick hug, putting him off guard. "Ari..?"

I hug him tighter and sigh in relief. I'm alive, Bella's alive. We made it out alive.

He doesn't question further why I'm hugging him, instead he hugs me back twice as hard.

I let him go after a while and look away. "How's Bella?" I look at him and am remained breathless at the look he's giving me.

"She's fine, nothing major. Her leg is slightly messed up but it will heal in a few weeks. The real question is how are you?"

I stare at him in confusion and he sighs, running a hand through his goddess locks.
