I feel.....warm. My eyes open and the first thing they spot are the waves with the morning sunrise.

What am I doing here? I move to get up but a weight is resting over my waist. I look down and spot a very familiar, muscular arm.

Jake.

Oh god.

I grimace and try to move his arm. If I wake him, I will be royally fucked. He likes Bella for crying out loud!

"Vrgh." I stop moving and thank god for my luck, because Jake moved his arm and shifted. I sigh quietly and stand up.

Fuck, my clothes!

I quickly take off Jake's hoodie and slip on my now dry clothes.  I quickly look over to Jake to see if he's still sleeping and sighed on relief.

I then got my ass out of there and walked home.

I snuck into my bedroom with my great ninja skills and huffed.

"And where were you young lady?" I jumped and saw Bella sitting on my bed with her arms crossed.

"Oh, h-hey Bells. I was just getting back from the, uh, doing laundry...?" I lie perfectly. There is no way she knows, good job me.

She looks at me in amusement as I try looking normal. "Ella that didn't even make an actual sentence, and you expect me to believe that you did laundry all night?"

I pursed my head and nodded once, not giving in.

She sighs and stands up from my bed. "Look, Edward came over here and asked me to meet his family and since you clearly won't tell me where you were last night, could you maybe come with me?"

I groan, I am so not ready to admit my fault to them yet. So I stubbornly shake my head.

"Ella please? You owe me, I had to lie and tell Charlie you were at Jake's last night." I nearly choked on my saliva. If only she knew.

I sigh in defeat. "Fine. But you better not leave me with them downstairs while you and Edward do the...deed upstairs. Capiche?" She blushes.

"Ella! He is not- he is very old school with that topic." She stutters and I grin in triumph.

Good. At least he has some respect.

"When are we doing this?" I ask as I take in her mildly excited stance.

"Tomorrow." As the word made it's way out of her mouth, a very familiar honk blew.

Regret clouded me. It is way too soon to see him.

Bella looked out my window and grinned. "It's Jacob and Billy." I falsely grin.

"Great."

~

We made our way outside and I kept my eyes trained on Billy and not the attractive boy next to him who I left sleeping on the beach only about an hour or so ago.

"Come to visit your truck?" Bella asks with a grin. I'll leave the talking to her then.

"Yeah, looks good. You got that dent out." Jacob answers. I can feel his gaze on me, and let me tell you, it burns.

"Actually, we're here to visit your flat screen. First Mariners game of the season, plus Jacob here kept bugging me to see you again."

I looked over at Billy to see if he was talking to me, but I was very disappointed when both his and Jake's attention were on Bella.
