i deserved a better good bye
than screams through taunt faces
broken shouts into the night.
Harboured feelings of emptiness,
happiness dissolving.
i find you in sad songs and rain drops.

You were the summer to my winter heart,
overwhelmed by my blizzards.
You did not belong here,
when the stars envied you so.
Now, when i hear your name.
I smile.
Not cry.
